The wife of a prominent Georgia attorney was found guilty of his murder this week, more than six years after her husband's body was discovered in a burn pit. On Monday, Melody Farris was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing the death of another and making a false statement, the Cherokee County District Attorney's Office said in a statement. An American murder suspect trying to flee to El Salvador has been taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Washington Dulles International Airport, officials say.
