Whats up, you guys? Mike: We’re doin’ good. Brad: I just want to say to start, I think it’s ironic that I had to fly from LA to Miami to do press with... KROQ: On our show... Brad: ...our radio station. KROQ: In LA. We’ve been dying to talk, we were very excited that you’re here, and you got some cool stuff to talk about. Tell us about Fort Minor. What’s going on? It has now appeared on a Machine Shop e-press release that "Petrified" will not be the first single but "Believe Me" will. This knocks out other confusion that "Remember the name" was going to be it and then "Petrified" was going to be released but I guess until its official we will have to keep guessing. Also the article featured a track listing which probably does not have all the tracks but gives name for most of them, the list is below with the full release article - Believe Me - High Road - Remember The Name - Where'd You Go - Back Home - Right Now - Petrified - Kenji - Get Me Gone Click here to read the full article release. * ALL CRE…

About 12:30 PM EST, MTV showed a bit of an interview with them and Mike. He talked about his scores for the show, then mentioned some FM stuff and also talked about how the European FM shows went. I didn't catch it, or else I would have recorded it for everyone. The main point of this article is that he confirmed the album release dates. The Rising Tied is set to be released on November 21st, 2005 for the world, and then November 22nd, 2005 for the United States. The 21st is a Monday, and most international releases are on a Monday, while the US releases are usually on a Tuesday. I'll post more in this thread about Mike at the VMA's, since I know they'll have some s…

Yes, it is confirmed. Fort Minor is on the radio. It was confirmed by some folks who were listening to KROQ in LA, where at 6:41 PM they played not Remember the Name, but Petrified! Album Version! *screams like a girl* lol DJ Stryker has the entire CD and is playing RTN / Petrified when he is DJing. He also had an interview with Mike earlier, so I guess Mike delivered the CD to him legally I requested both songs a LOT on all the Atlanta stations I know, and they still haven't played it ^_^ To all you Cali folk: Go out and record Petrified on KROQ, since I know everyone's dying to hear it Everyone else: Request it. This is obviously a sign from Mike for everyone to…

The New York Daily News is reporting LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington blasted a Mansion nightclub bodyguard, alleging that the security man had shoved his pregnant girlfriend. "He was forcibly pushing her away with his arm and I had to get in between them," Bennington said. "So I shoved him back." The rocker revealed that he may bring legal action against the club, and said he spit on one of the bouncers as he stormed away from the party. Bennington is currently working on his solo debut, tentatively due in early 2006. The singer is reportedly working with producers (and ORGY members) Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck on the as-yet-untitled CD. Songtitles set to appear…

SOURCE: MTV Article copied exactly cause I'm bout to go to school. Pic of it later. MIAMI — Before Mike Shinoda started a little rap-rock band called Linkin Park, he spit rhymes over his own homemade beats. It was modest, to say the least, but a few years ago he started missing it.... link to article: CLICK HERE

IGN recently interviewed B-Real of Cypress Hill about paintball and the upcoming festival. During the interview, he talked about paintballing against Linkin Park, and smashing them! *drat!* Quote from article that mentions LP: IGN: Who's the biggest, most famous person you've taken down on the course? B-Real: We don't get to play pros that many times, being that we're in a lower division, but I'd say the most famous people we played against is Linkin Park in an exhibition match. It was pretty much when we barely, barely started playing. We'd been into it about a year, and the league wanted to throw an exhibition game, so they got Linkin Park to play against us, bei…

It appears Chaz is hosting some sort of party, but im not 100% sure what it was saying. Heres the excerpt that mention Chester: According to Cain publicist Steve Kasuba, in addition to the free-flowing Grey Goose, dancers and a parade of wake boarders will be on hand with host Chester Bennington of Linkin Park as boats drop off guests including Cain N.Y./Southhampton regulars actress Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), rappers Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, and singers Beyoncé and Joss Stone. As some of you might know already, the Fort Minor show at the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium is going to be streamed on the web. You will have the opportunity to listen to it, bootleg it, do whatever you like. The FM show will be at the Pukkelpop Festival, Dance Hall Stage tomorrow, August 18th at 8:10 pm local Belgium time. I found this quite amazing that since it's FM's first show and Cheapshot/Mike said it would be very tough to record any shows :O After chatting with Cheapshot, he said that all recorders would be banned from shows (especially VMA Party), and that he hoped noone would stream the shows. Unfortunately, it's gonna happen lol I guess I should stop…

LP DJ Joe Hahn has been up to a lot lately, with his short film ‘Seed’, working on Linkin Parks new album, and now opening up his store on Melrose Avenue. Suru, which means “to silkscreen by hand”, has their line of custom-made, Limited-edition T-shirts. Joe says they got the inspiration from “things that hurt” the next line is themed “dreams and nightmares”. The store has some cool things added to the shopping experience, including a conveyor belt, encased in glass, to show off the T’s. DJ ‘Mr. Hahn’ has his turntables set up in the store and if your lucky “you might catch me messing around.” And for a little surprise if you show up on the right day, you might get a ‘bon…

Alright, The LATimes reported on the MTV VMA's. It had Mike talking about his peices of work for the show. SOURCE: Los Angeles Times Newspaper Here's the article about Mike and Lil Jon. With performances, nominations, previews and, oh, yeah, the awards themselves, MTV's annual Video Music Awards shows have been pretty much wall-to-wall music already. But for the show taking place next Sunday in Miami, the producers decided they needed more and hired rapper-producer Li'l Jon and Linkin Park musician Mike Shinoda to provide clips to function more or less as "score" music. "We're laying down the soundtrack for the awards show," says Li'l Jon. "MTV is always on t…
