This is the third interview from Fort Minor's artists. The first two were the two Cheapshot interviews, one by us and one by FMBR. Recent LPU email I got. Help promote LP and pick up the Faint DVD! === Many of you participated in the Linkin Park video shoot for "Faint" and remember standing in a crowd in front of a wall of lights, jumping and screaming at the top of your lungs while the band played "Faint" onstage. The experience was great and the finished music video even more amazing. This was the genius of director Mark Romanek. This coming September, Palm Pictures will be releasing their next series of Director's Label DVDs featuring the work of groundbreaking directors, including Mark Romanek. The DVD will feature Romanek's best work in music videos, exclusive new works, as well as inte…

Yes, ladies and gentlemen... Believe Me is confirmed to be the first FM Video. It was already shot and is done However, it is NOT confirmed to be the first single of the album. "According to Video Static Laurent Briet directed Fort Minor's first video, "Believe Me."" Aww poor Hahny didn't get to shoot it >_< Recently on the FM Boards, Mike Shinoda said this: "that thing about "believe me" being the 1st single was a mistake. obviously, remember the name and petrified are already out there. it's cool having a bio on the site...it kinda spells out what the project is about." Very confusing. I say Mike didn't really handle this situation right. Should hav…

EXCLUSIVE LinkinParkForums.com -CHEAPSHOT- INTERVIEW Chester_Chaz00: Teal Cheapshot: Sienna 1 - At what age did you first realize you wanted to be a DJ? I first realized I wanted to be a DJ at the age of 11. My older brother had a friend who was a DJ...I had never seen anything like it at that time and was infatuated with the fusion of music and technology. 2 - At what age did you get your set of first turntables and if you can remember what was the first club you ever DJ-ed in? I saved every cent for a year and bought my first pair of Technic 1200's and a numark 1650 mixer when I was 12. The first club I played at was when I was 18, called "Constipation"…

Yup, it looks like MÖTLEY CRÜE will be singing this song with Chester TODAY??!?! MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message in his online diary: "Tomorrow [saturday, September 10] will be a long day, but a good day. We need to be at CMT studios in Nashville to cut 'Home Sweet Home' live with Chester [bennington] from LINKIN PARK at 9 a.m. We're gonna have other players as well — piano, a second guitar, strings, choir etc. We're doing this for the hurricane relief fund. Then we go to a recording studio with everybody in tow and cut it proper for a single to be released to raise more money to help the people of New Orleans, then we have a concert …

It has now appeared on a Machine Shop e-press release that "Petrified" will not be the first single but "Believe Me" will. This knocks out other confusion that "Remember the name" was going to be it and then "Petrified" was going to be released but I guess until its official we will have to keep guessing. Also the article featured a track listing which probably does not have all the tracks but gives name for most of them, the list is below with the full release article - Believe Me - High Road - Remember The Name - Where'd You Go - Back Home - Right Now - Petrified - Kenji - Get Me Gone Click here to read the full article release. * ALL CRE…

About 12:30 PM EST, MTV showed a bit of an interview with them and Mike. He talked about his scores for the show, then mentioned some FM stuff and also talked about how the European FM shows went. I didn't catch it, or else I would have recorded it for everyone. The main point of this article is that he confirmed the album release dates. The Rising Tied is set to be released on November 21st, 2005 for the world, and then November 22nd, 2005 for the United States. The 21st is a Monday, and most international releases are on a Monday, while the US releases are usually on a Tuesday. I'll post more in this thread about Mike at the VMA's, since I know they'll have some s…

Yes, it is confirmed. Fort Minor is on the radio. It was confirmed by some folks who were listening to KROQ in LA, where at 6:41 PM they played not Remember the Name, but Petrified! Album Version! *screams like a girl* lol DJ Stryker has the entire CD and is playing RTN / Petrified when he is DJing. He also had an interview with Mike earlier, so I guess Mike delivered the CD to him legally I requested both songs a LOT on all the Atlanta stations I know, and they still haven't played it ^_^ To all you Cali folk: Go out and record Petrified on KROQ, since I know everyone's dying to hear it Everyone else: Request it. This is obviously a sign from Mike for everyone to…
