ok guys im looking who can upgrade the internals of my oem starter... for some reason the 24V kit keeps burning the starter and solenoid.(im thinking it might be a short some where? so I want to modify it to make it stronger... any takers?

race report: Saturday- we stop by my friends house in SD to pick up a skidplate for a racer and he gave us some good pointer on overall strategy and help us change the game plan. after that he took us to "El Chicken" 's house to leave the quad for race prep (the best in Baja, and the finish speaks for it self). we got there and start talking to him about it and having some beers (everything in Baja is over beers) , after that we got to the hotel. we stayed in Hotel Cortez( www.bajainn.com ) and the location is simply the best out there.. the other riders can testify over it. I have a pretty sweet thing going for now, when I bought my new 450r I also purchased a service contract. The contract says unlimited oil changes for three years. They give me the supplies to take home and do the work myself as I prefer it that way. I get two quarts of honda 10w40 and filter and crush washers plus 1 quart of transmission oil. I get these supplies twice a week whether I need them or not, I figure I paid for them so why not get my moneys worth, not my fault they said "unlimited". I got to thinking a little. For how hot these 450's seem to run is 10w40 adequate? Do you guys run heavier oil? Thank you for reading. Eric

Hey guys, went for a ride sunday and a stump with a broken off limb grabbed my right from tire and caused the tie rod to bend. I pulled it back somewhat straight. Surprised how easily they can bend. Looking to upgrade to some better units. What can you recommend that I order? Thank you, Eric

Hey Guy's I'm looking for new Handlebars. The new bars have to be at least the same hight as the Fast flexx bars are, or slightly higher due to my body length(6"2) +1 Stem. I personally have been thinking about the Renthal Fatbars - ProTaper Fatbars. The thing is i really dont know what Angle or hight i should choose from. I like the handlebars from 'TP Racing' on this forum.
