I know how you feel Katey. I used to go to this forum that was about music in general, EVERYTIME I would mention LP, tons of people would have to tell me how much they suck. They suck cause they're emo. WTF? What's wrong with emo? They suck because they have a DJ. Yeah ok, whatever. They aren't hardcore enough. Who gives a crap how hardcore they are? Who says all rock music has to be hardcore? All of this wouldn't bother me so much, the thing that would piss me off is that people who DON'T EVEN LIKE LP would come to my thread about LP just to tell me how much they suck. Why would they even bother? If they don't like LP, they don't need to post on a LP thread, it's that simple. They can have thier opinions about LP, that's fine, I don't think everybody has to like them. But why do they have to try to make me feel bad for liking them? Man people can be so stupid.

Lack of confidence bugs me a lot. Obviously I don't want someone who thinks they're just soooooo awsome and they're stuck on themselves, but I like it when guys are confident enough to be able say what they think without worrying about looking stupid. And the cliche...guys who make me laugh.

BTH does have an awsome video. But I think SIB is my favorite video.

It's hard to pick just one...but "a little piece of paper with a picture drawn/floats on down the street till the wind is gone/and the memory now is like the picture was then/when the papers crumpled up it can't be perfect again" is awsome. I think that's very meaningful. But I also like "I watch how the moon sits on the sky on a dark night/shining with the light from the sun/but the sun doesn't give the light to the moon assuming/the moons gonna owe it one" is really good too. I wanna do more, but I think two will have to do.

I think I'm going to have to go with ETR and FTI. Although DS and OSC are great for when you're mad.

When I first heard it, I thought it had an '80s feel to it, and wasn't too keen on it...dunno why. But I listened to it a couple more times and payed attention to the lyrics, and I thought it was awsome. Then I heard that Mike wrote it for Chester, and I had that much more respect for it. It's awsome. :thumbsup:

Personallly, I prefer, Meteora. My favorite ones are SIB, LFY, ETR, and FTI. If you'll notice, these are the more mellow songs. However, when I'm pissed off or just in the mood for something that rocks, I'm more likely to listen to HT, simply because it's louder, faster, and better for screaming along to. So I guess you're right about it being more raw. :thumbsup:
