I own both. Which one is better depends on how you wanna use it. Laptop is better for carrying around while on tour or from home to office or school. On the other hand, desktop is good for playing games, applications etc. It's really very difficult to upgrade a laptop, and pretty expensive too. I love both and I use both, depending on my need. If my laptop's battery runs dry, I switch to the desktop!!
