I use HP header wrap, then once it fades I spray it with vht flame proof spray paint. I haven't had any problems with it breaking or getting brittle yet(knock on wood). The first time I used it I had probably 20-30 hours on it and it held up great. I just rebuilt the engine and have about 5 hours on the new stuff, hopefully I can get a good year out of it. I still have half a roll of it left just in case I jinxed myself.

I had mine originally ceramic coated black, but after a few rides it started to come off. I use yellow header wrap now, saves the leg/pants and gives it that tricked out look. Never really thought about anodizing it, that stuff fades to quick.

Thanks man, thats a huge compliment! The build was fun but a bitch, I kept having problem after problem. The engine bill turned out to be way more than planned, due to the tranny going out. But its finally complete, and now I can move on to building my girl her bike(my backup).

Ebay is my good friend lol, you can find just about anything on there. The only shitty part is that now I'm in debt to paypal, and I have a kid on the way. I'm gonna paint the engine, just havent got around to buying the supplies yet.
