  1. Yes. Usually a celebration (I'm having a party in 3 weeks celebrating end of exams), or out of boredom, and sometimes having a drink cheers me up a bit. Last time... um... about 4 weeks ago. Age is 18 here, just 10 months to go =3
  2. Ditto to both Hey, Jona, your friend was like, really close to where I was lol. Like, a couple of rows behind and a few seats to the right of me by the looks. But don't sweat about the whole gf thing. Your mates will come to their senses soon enough.
  3. I confess that I should be asleep, so that I'll be fresh for jeans shopping tomorrow, but I am here instead, due to stupid work taking up all my time. I also confess that tomorrow night I shall be up until 2am once again (watching one of my favourite movies on TV), only to get up early again the next day, to go to work. Furthermore, I confess that on that day (Sunday), I shall eat all my workplace's apples, because apples wake you up more than coffee, and that is a proven fact.
  4. Awww it's so cute! I heart your art. Hey that rhymes. ^^;
  5. Screw that. Screw that up the bum with a broomstick. Impressive, yes, but it does a hell of a lot more damage. Most people don't seem to realise how much drummers use their wrists. He'd need MONTHS of rehab to get back up to scratch. I've drummed with a strained wrist before and that was bad enough, but broken? Hell no. Travis Barker from Blink 182 has played with a broken ankle, but that's not so bad, you can rig up your kit to make up for the loss of a leg.
  6. Ditto mate! I was at the very first show of the tour, in Auckland, New Zealand. Best night of my life, no exceptions, at all. Poor Chaz. Good man for not letting the fans down and carrying on the show though! He could still do his thing (jumping around like a madman and such).
  7. I confess I am drinking my music very loud and playing vodka. I mean, playing my music very loud and drinking vodka. Or I would be, if I HAD vodka. Wait, I do. Just needs lemonade.
  8. Shizzle my nizzle man, you're really good! I wish I could do stuff like that.
  9. I'm pretty sure... though maybe I was just hallucinating. On the 2.5 hour drive home I was hallucinating about pandas and blood, so it's likely o.O;
  10. Probably. I'm actually non-religious, yet I love quite a few bands from that genre. NZ band SODA for instance, I saw live a few years ago, back in my youth group days, and I loved them. Their music was brilliant. I never really knew what happened to them after that though, which was disappointing. I must track them down again...
  11. Oh, they did Place For My Head acoustic as well - Mike on keys, Chaz singing. Um set list... they did Wake followed by Given Up, Foreword and Don't Stay, Papercut, Points of Authority, What I've Done, Bleed It Out, No More Sorrow, Leave Out All The Rest, Numb, Faint, The Little Things Give You Away (I finally worked out how Rob did the drumming for that one), Breaking The Habit, Lying From You, Somewhere I Belong, In The End, Crawling, One Step Closer, With You. They're in no particular order. Faint was the last song. Rob did a drum solo at the end, then they continued with an instrumental for a bit, then the bridge and chorus again, then the end. Chester was prancing around shirtless for most of it. Actually, prance is the wrong word. Stumbling around like a drunk would be more appropriate. At the start there was a big curtain up, then when they came on, started playing, spotlights behind them lit up, so you could see the guys' silhouettes. Um... It was Pushing Me Away I think. I can't remember, I was too busy screaming my lungs out with everyone else ^^; Then the curtain dropped and they went into it. Come to think of it, it could have been One Step Closer they were playing.
  12. My friend gave me a song by this band called Skillet. It's called The Last Night. It's like, WOW. That's the only song I know from them, but when my mate comes back from New Caledonia she'll give me some more. Has anyone else heard of them?
  13. 3956 On a couple of rping forums I'm on we have this game, except it doesn't have a limit xP
  14. Ok I'm back! I swear! Yes well, I saw LP last night. For the first time. I love them even more, if it's physically possible for me to love them more than I already do. There are no words I can use that describe how awesome it was. I was in awe the whole time. We were seated really close to the stage, but unfortunately we weren't close enough for God - I mean Rob - to throw his drumsticks to us. Perhaps I'm biased because I'm a drummer myself, but Rob is officially my God. The solo somewhere in the middle of Faint was -amazing-. More than amazing. I'ma stop rambling now ^^; I rant a lot about LP. My mates are sick of it hehe...
