What exactly is a "terrorist country"? Have we already forgotten that the terrorists in Britain were in fact British Citezens? How can we stop something that we can't see? That's the problem with terrorism! It's an IDEA. We can't stop ideas. If a terrorist wants to get into America badly enough, they will.

Hell yeah phreakwars! I thought I was the only one on this site that knew of it. It is the only belief that makes sense to those with open eyes and open minds. It tells people to use thier god-given gift of reason to figure things out for themselves, not for god to tell them everything.

bludude, there is a difference between this man's situation and incest. Incest is fucked up, plain and simple. However, look at many other cultures, for example the Berber of Morocco and Angola. The wives are as young as twelve and get married to men in their thirties. This has been going on for centuries and the Berber are happy people. This man's situation is no different. It may seerm strange to us because it is outside what we are used to, but if they actually love one another and the parents are cool about it, what buisiness does the government have in sending the fellow away to prison? That there is three lives ruined. The father gets screwed over for the rest of his life for being a "felon", the girl loses her man and the custody of her child, and the child has to be raised in a foster home. I have a good friend who was raised in foster care and he wishes to god that it didn't happen. He has issues to this day because of that. People, for the child's sake, let the couple live in peace. They also have loving grandparents on both sides who are in favor of the relationship, they can help.

I say that if they are cool with it and (more importantly) the parents are cool with it, the courts should stay the fuck out of it. If the father gets put away, that would be yet another child growing up in a fatherless home, which no child deserves. Yeah, she was damn young, but is that really the nation's buisiness if there is parental consent?

Well MRIH, the Christians have slowed their role in the past century, but were responsible for not one but TWO crusades that killed coutless people, the Salem witch trials that killed an unknown amount of innocent American women, the destruction and near extiction of not one but TWO mesoamerican societies (Inca and Aztec), the Spanish Inquisition (Iron Maiden anyone?)and probably more, but I can't think of them. The Muslims have their share of bullshit too like 9/11, but you don't see them systematically exterminating entire societies. To answer the main question, yes they are the same. While they may have slightly different agendas, they both think that they are the "one and only" and that everyone who disagrees with them is a heretic and should be put to death, or in some way be sedated.

I just had a long discussion with my cousin about this. WHat do you think?

to ALLAH IS GREAT: I do believe in a kind of afterlife, albeit one that exists here on Earth. Those who do good are remembered througout time as shining exaples of the inherent goodness that is people. Martin Luther King Jr. is an example of this, even though he was an adulterer, he is only rmembered for the good things that he did. That reputation will never die(Heaven). Those who are wicked are remembered for their wickedness. Their names become hated and are synonymous with all that is evil. For example, any German youth given the name Adolf will be universally loathed, even if he is not a bad person. Even if Hitler did do some good, that good was eclipsed by his wickedness. His name is synonymous with evil and is permanently tainted (Hell).

I don't believe that the world will go on forever either. Personally, I think that humanity will be the end of the world. In response to tizz. I was once an atheist/agnostic like yourself until Deism showed me the light. God definitely exists in some form of another but it knows that humans cannot fathom its existance in a pur form. Therefore it is incumbent upon us to choose for ourselves wether it exists or not. God blessed us with rational thought, which sets us apart from the beasts. I choose to believe in God. And yes, before nature there was God.
