  1. Yeah OEM parts. If it lets go again we'll probably go with the Baldwin billet gear set.
  2. Yep. The crank and piston is the easy part... motor also has a completely ruined transmission and I have to replace EVERY single part of the trans... all the gears, washers, countershaft, mainshaft, shift forks, drum....etc nothing was reusable after it let go.
  3. UPS dropped of a box from Racer's Edge/Crankworks today! Figured I'd share some pics! The crank is an OEM crank with a stock length Carrillo rod, balanced and welded by Crankworks. The piston is a CP 14:1 ''Race'' version with a single compression ring and moly coated skirts. Piston also uses a DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) wrist pin. It is very dark in color.   4. Have some extra transmission parts for sale cheap if anybody needs some odds and ends. Fits 2006+ year 450r's. Parts are 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear on the mainshaft, with all washers, bushings, and circlips. Countershaft parts are 3rd and 4th gear, with all bushings, washers, and circlips. All parts are good and usable, but 3rd gear for the countershaft has a chip. See pictures. Make me an offer!   6. Up for sale is my Honda TRX250R. I am the second owner of this bike. It has a clean and clear title in my name which is rare with these bikes. Asking $2900. **** EDIT... PRICE LOWERED TO $2795 OBO!!!! ***** Located in Saint Louis, Missouri. (ONLY THE FIRST PIC SHOWS EXACTLY HOW THE BIKE LOOKS RIGHT NOW. THE OTHER PICTURES ARE FROM ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO BEFORE I PUT THE NEW STICKERS ON IT) It spent the first 20 years of it's life sitting in the garage and was only ridden ONCE A YEAR for an annual dune trip in California. It has never been crashed in any way, and has never been abused. Also has never been raced!!! The bike has no problems at all, in fact it is in better shape than most any ATV or dirtbike you will find for sale on Craigslist! This is the best condition 250r I have ever seen. I fully restored it over the last year and replaced a lot of parts with new. It only has about 5 hours on the complete restoration. I have many pictures of every step of the restoration to prove that everything I say about this bike is true. The bike starts on the first kick every time and runs better than new. The engine has never lost a top end or lower end. There is absolutely NO case damage anywhere... inside or out. OEM drain plug is still used and OEM threads are perfect. Transmission is in great shape, no damage or wear. I have some extra parts that can go with the bike. I have like new, take off aluminum rear swingarm from a 450r. It will fit the 250r with no problems. This will allow you to use a complete 450r rear end and save a good amount of weight. I also have an extra rear caliper and brake stay that is in very good shape, also have new brake pads still in the packaging. Have extra front shocks, disc guards, skid plate, reeds, handle bars, etc... Frame/Suspension/Body: -frame has been completely checked for cracks or wear, none were found -sandblasted frame and steering stem, painted black -a-arms and swingarm painted 'cast aluminum' -hubs painted dark silver -400EX front shocks -400EX front and rear wheels -new tires front and rear -new swingarm pivot bearings, front and rear wheel bearings, steering stem bearings, and all seals etc. -450r front bumper -new engine and swingarm skid plates -stainless braided brake lines in front, OEM 450r brake line in rear -new clutch cable, throttle cable, clutch lever -new OEM 450r front and rear master cylinders -new D.I.D. X-Ring chain, new sprockets, new chain sliders -new 450r handlebars -new chrome motor mounts and case saver -gripper seat cover -black tank cover and hood -custom fit 400ex heel guards -assorted new bolts and rubber pieces -OEM front and rear fenders have been polished and repaired where needed, and are in good shape.
