We have a 91 octane pump fuel entry level Duner class and E85 is a "pump fuel" that provides a performance advantage due to it's alcohol content.
-
No we will not. M1 Methanol is already an approved fuel if someone chooses to run alcohol.
-
understandable.......lol
-
That's correct.

AWARDS SYSTEM The Four Stroke Association awards system will be comprised of 2 different award levels. At the individual race level, achievement will be recognized for the first and second place finishers in each race, along with a small bore and big bore gas champion being recognized and competing for the King of the event. The King of the Event award will be a final race of the top fuel finishers from the small bore and big bore gas champion racing categories and the first place winners from the small/big bore Open classes. The second level of recognition will be for the series winners. Series winners will be recognized in all designated classes. Championship points are based on a 5 race series and will be awarded on a graduated basis and accumulated. The lowest score will be dropped and largest combined score will designate the series winners. FSA will be awarding a "BUILDER OF THE YEAR" award to the top shop/builder that sponsors the winning series championship bike in the Under 650 Builders and Over 650 Builder classes. Sample must be able to be taken from line between carburetor and fuel pump or petcock. On fuel injected systems, the sample may be taken from the low-pressure (return) side of the system, between the injectors and the fuel tank return inlet. Use of a “Pingel” Fuel Sampler (item number PFS1) for Lectrons application or (item number PFS2) for Mikuni/Keihin 5/16-inch application, or equivalent to enable sample collection is strongly recommended. * PROPYLENE OXIDE The use of propylene oxide is prohibited in all categories. * RACING GASOLINE Only racing gasoline that appears on the approved FSA list is permitted. No mixing of fuels or additives. All gasoline will be checked against a FSA sample for legality. Racing gasoline is defined for purposes of the Rulebook as a mixture of hydrocarbons only. Racing gasoline is tested and certified at FSA events through the application of various chemical analysis as considered appropriate by fuel check personnel. Gasoline is a good electrical insulator, or dielectric, and its relative effectiveness as an insulator is represented by its Dielectric Constant. The average D.C. for the hydrocarbons which comprise gasoline is 2.025. This is defined as a reading of 0 with the certified FSA fuel meter. FSA maintains a reference book of dielectric readings for approved fuels. Fuel samples must measure within + or – 0.40 of reference book specifications on the certified FSA fuel meter.

Driver and Owner may also be banned from future FSA events. 10) Only 1 number per bike. NO switching number plates on vehicles, doing so will result in disqualification; fees will not be refunded. Participants must compete with the same bike and number for the entire race season for championship points to be awarded. 11) Competitors in each respective cc groupings, under 650cc and over 650cc, have the option of moving up within those class groups. For example: the over 650cc builder racer can sign up for the over 650cc modified or power adder class. Same logic applies for the under 650cc competitor. 12) Point earnings will be applied to the ATV/owner being entered into the series. Frame numbers will be established for all ATV’s. 13) Tech Inspection – will be held immediately following the finals on the top 2 finishers. Do not return to your pit. Proceed to tech inspection upon completing your final race. Not doing so will result in disqualification. All participants must be prepared with replacement parts to assemble motors after random tech inspections. This includes head gaskets at owners expense. Tech can include: Bore and Stroke Fuel Frame density Weight Wheelbase 14) FALSE START (For races without electronic controls or red lights): When the front wheel of an ATV leaves the starting line before the starter has started the race. This will be called by the line judge on either side of the track. A single false start will eliminate the participant from that race. Two false starts will eliminate the participant from that days event. Example: Preliminary race #1 racer false starts, Preliminary race #2 racer false starts – racer done for day. Each racer is allowed 1 false start during the day. Second false start eliminates racer for that day. 15) Race Start: Each race start will be managed by a starting light system. Details to be reviewed in each drivers meeting. Competitor participants that fail to start or stop running in the staging area will be allowed 120 seconds to fire their engine for a given race. Failure for racers to fire their engines in the designated time frame will result in disqualification. Subsequent race delays will be managed on a case by case basis by the race director. 16) Racer support – each racer will be allowed no more than 2 handlers in the pre-staging and staging areas. Once a racer/bike enters the staging areas fuel cannot be added to the tank unless performed by an race official until tech is completed. Adding air to tires is not allowed. Chain adjustment or other safety maintenance issues can only be performed if approved prior by a race official. Violations of any of the above stated rules will result in disqualification. 17) Race Finish (For races without electronic controls or electronic win lights) : Will be determined by the finish line judges at a designated place on the track. Details to be reviewed in each drivers meeting. Top two (2) finishers must report to the tech trailer immediately following the class final. Exiting the track prior to reporting to tech will result in disqualification. 18) Protests: Protests can only be made by registered contestants in a given race. Protests must be filed with the Event Director within 30 minutes of the event results. Protests will be accepted based on completing the protest form in writing and tendering a protest fee of $200. Official’s protests may be entered at any time during the event at no charge by the proper officials. Each protest must specify the violation of FSA rules, procedures, or race result, which is alleged and must be accompanied with a protest fee of $200. If an inspection or review proves a protested ATV to be out of its proper class, protest fees will be refunded, less expenses, and the non-complaint entry will be subject to such action as the Event Director or Technical Committee may impose, including but not limited to possible disqualifications, fines, suspension and/or revocation of competition privileges for up to 1 year. However, in the case of a protested party found in compliance with the requirements of its class of competition will be entitled to the protest fee. The race Director will not accept verbal protests or protests which are not accompanied by the required fee. FSA reserves the right to inspect, review, or protest participants it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, is frivolous or intentional abuse of current competition rules, to otherwise gain some unfair competitive advantage. Any component, regardless of weight, which serves a structural, mechanical and/or performance enhancing function, is not considered to be ballast. (i.e., as a general reference, if the component in question can be removed without affecting any functions of the ATV, or decreasing structural integrity of the ATV, it is considered ballast). FSA does, however, reserve the right to deem any non-ballast component to be illegal, if its design or weight creates a safety hazard.
