lp ARENT going to come out with anything soon..... they have contract issues with their label which can take up to years to solve, especially since lp are huge sellers and money makers.... if they wernt selling then the label would kill there contract anyway...... and i actually think meteora will be their last album..... but fort minior is comming out so that sumthin to look forward to, i prefer the hiphop side over the rock anyway

yea i agree with alot of what you said.....i was 16 when i started listening to them.... im like 20yrsold now, moved out of home........so i can see through what they do....... your right, it is a business.... and thats the problem........ believe it or not REanimation is what linkin park ORIGNALLY sounded like, hybrid theory isnt... i actually think now that reanimation is their best album...... just listen to the guitars on meteora..... its the same 3chord riffs, there songs are so identical, somewhere i belong-in the end...... ....i believe that CC was selling out based on the fact it was organised by MTV for starters... in the fact there just using up another album to get out of their 10 album contract........ i mean jayz is one of the best rappers in hiphop, between two groups they came out with 6song EP that isnt even close to what it should have been... milking the dedicated fans (my opinion).... and there fighting with warner for more money?? ...if any band sold as much as they did they would be jumping for joy.... right now you can even tell linkin park as a band DONT like where there going..... i mean look at mike... his parts of the songs (crawling demo) and lyrics were cut out and dumbed down so much....... chesters least favorite song is OSC, i actaully think he hates SCREAMING.... coz in his previous band grey daze he did none of that....... look in the meteora booklet.... dont stay ORIGNALLY had a reggae vibe.... and there record company changed it into OSC part 2...... i rekon they had to re-write most of the songs on meteora..... the problem is that hybrid theory looses part of its "greatness" if they cloned it with meteora (besides bth & nobody's listening) and in turn meteora looses its status as a good record if its so similar to HT...... people cannt say, "oh linkin park, there first album is great and so is there second" beocz there so similar they lose and idenitiy..... reanimation and CC and the only albums with identity.... know wat i mean? im not tryin to hate on em.... it just somthing i realised as i grew older....

u guys are missing my point...... what im saying is between the EP and HT theres a HUGE difference..... and between HT and meteora theres almost no difference...... i remember reading an interview with mike talkin about how they re-wrote ALL their songs on HT to make them "more accessable" which means there dumbing down for a younger audience.... look at the demo lyrics and compare them to the album ones...... what im tryin to say is the people get sick of them selling out for a larger audience.....look at why high voltage was cut off the album.... coz it was "too rapish"... all im sayin is that if they come out with the same shit on the 3rd album im really gonna stop listening to them....... chester is 30yrs old singing about how much his parents hate him.....

we all know whats going on with warner, which is basically make or break... and the quality of their music has dropped, fans have grew older........ do you think they hav what it takes to pull of a third album? i remember hearing that "breaking the habbit" will be the template for the nxt album which is good news..... im lookin forward to more of hiphop type lyrics on the nxt albums aswell eg "high voltage" as well as mike solo album but i prefer hybrid in there XERO/EP days, before they were aimed at teenies coz meteora was just the same rehashed formula as hybrid theory it shows how much the band has no involvement in "THEIR OWN" music and are just record company assetts....
