  1. I think they're an awesome band, although I didn't really like their new album. Comalies is my favorite.
  2. Congrats on that, Clogz! Good luck with everything! What'll you be studying there?
  3. Robot Chiken has its funny moments, I watch it from time to time I've been giving the Clerks animated series a try, they're OK, but of course the movies are so much better haha
  4. Back when I was in high school, a lot of my classmates played on local teams. I'd say it's a pretty popular sport here - not as popular as football, of course, but still pretty widely known and practiced.
  5. I don't really know, there's no info on Alice being evil (that I found, at least), and I almost don't remember anything from the 2nd movie lol I need to see that again. Didn't get to watch Silent Hill yet, but it's cool that the movie's going to have good fx. Usually I don't think a horror movie necessarily needs a lot of special effects (mood is a big part of horror, and playing inteligentely with mood, location, character development and plot we can have fine horror movies), but in zombie movies there's always a lot of blood and guts flying around, so fx are important. On RE even more, because of all the creatures/zombies, weaponry, action... well, it has a very important visual part. So good fx are definitely an advantage
  6. Let us know how that went Speaking of which, I remembered last Halloween one of my cable channels broadcasted a special of this show called Ghost Hunt (it's not Ghost Hunters), it's from New Zealand, and it was cool to watch. Some spooky stuff went down. "Hosts Michael Hallows, Brad Hills and Carolyn Taylor will put their fears aside while exploring New Zealand's haunted sites. The Ghost Hunt team use a combination of technological gadgets and old fashioned bravado in their pursuit of paranormal activity. " Regardless of what happened there was true or not, it sure gave more life to a Halloween night! It breaks the same old routine of watching horror movies
  7. That's a sweet, sweet lineup. That's the best too, in my opinion. When I saw LP live, there was Adema first, then Redman, then LP. It was okay as a lineup, but not the best... just average. If only I got to see LP with SOTY... that would've been awesome. As for Taproot, I think they're cool too, so Peterdea, you're not alone
  8. http://www.offtopic.forum/data/MetaMirrorCache/6515a9d4a2d19bbabac8d5f38089ff81.jpg That's me a.k.a. loser
  9. I've only heard a few songs by them, The Guillotine, Reverse this Curse and Situations. I have to say I don't like Situations, but the other 2 are pretty cool. Their riffs are great, and have lots of energy. I'll check out some of the other songs you advised though!
  10. Once again, thanks everyone! I'm glad I'm keeping entertained with my drawings, and that you like them! New one! As the big Shaun of the Dead fan that I am, you know I must have some fanart for it. And here it is! Enjoy Ed and Shaun ready to kick smash some zombies heads in http://www.offtopic.forum/data/MetaMirrorCache/9b2778359b21d72106e1404984d5847f.jpg
  11. the guys that wrote that have a pretty active imagination hehe fake story, but entertaining I didn't really knew that onion website, so at first I thought it was some kind of urban legend, but never a true story - it just starts derailing into some kind of supernatural tale towards the end or something.
  12. I like them Clogz, you've done a pretty good work! Like Rusu said, it also depends of the music you'll put them into, but they are good none the less
  13. Yeah, Little Britain is a riot, those characters are crazy I've seen all the episodes, but I can see them over and over again and they never fail to make me laugh. Have you ever seen The League of Gentlemen? If not, you must! If you like Little Britain, you'll most likely love it. It's hilarious and crazy too! I've never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm, sadly, but I have a big curiosity, since it's Larry David's and he used to write for Seinfeld, and I freaking love Seinfeld haha I really have to check it out!
  14. Heroes is pretty good, one of my fav series at the moment, but it's not on TV or even cable here, so I have to download it to be able to watch it! House is really awesome too. I generally have a short attention span when it cames to tv shows, so even if I think a show is good, I rarely follow it on tv, or watch an episode all the way through. For example, Lost and Prison Break... I love Scrubs, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Little Britain, The League of Gentlemen And I've watched Arrested Development (the 1st season) recently and that is hilarious, I love it. It's been a while since I've seen anime on tv, maily because I tend to borrow DVDs or so from friends, it's easier to see series at your own pace rather than to try and memorize the days and hours of when that anime will be on lol but same goes to other shows, I guess
