  1. I think the collaboration with Jay-Z was great. Numb/Encore and POA/OSC/99 Problems are wonderful, in my opinion. I disagree with you about Numb/Encore, I think leaving Chester until the end was a smart move because he just sort of summed it all up. For POA/OSC/99 Problems, that was probably the best song on Collision Course because the actual mash-up was put together so well. Also Mike rapping over Jay-Z's parts was great, he did an awesome job.
  2. I think it's really different from LP's usual stuff mainly because Jon Davis wrote the lyrics and played some of the background music, All in all, I really love the song. It's very dark and mysterious. Chester's vocals in the song are incredibly creepy but the bridge just strikes you in the core. Amazing song.
  3. My newest poem. I might put some of my others. This is waaay different from what I usually write though. Hope you like it all the same. Critique appreciated. (Your Title Here) So stereos hum into the starry moonlight with us on our backsides; Music is poetry to the ears and mind and like hands, we intertwine. We fit each other, so. The air between us is silent but our hearts are singing, "Hallelujah, hallelujah" and we rock our heads in beat to the old love songs played in the stereo tonight. Notes across the glistening sky. There's something familiar about this place: the music playing, the sky twinkling, and I think I visited this place before, yes, in my dreams each night. It is the same so why is it different? This is more than a dream, so much more. I feel as if each sound in the song is a piece of my heart and with each note my heart grows fonder for you, so I turn up the volume. Now all I hear is the music blasting and our love intertwined. Our hearts are singing each other's names in the moonlight and everything else is drowned out and your title goes here because you are the love song of my life.
  4. Nice work, I like 4th verse the best. Fantastic title!
  5. That was really great, I like your style.
  6. Wow, amazing song. the imagery in it is fantastic. Poor girl, but everybody feels that way at times. Nice work!
  7. They're okay, I can stand them but their songs all sound the same to me.
  8. Ever heard of them? They're new I think and they're from Long Island, New York. I'm in love with this band, they have a nice soothing sound that would relax you immediately. http://www.straylightrun.com/ Anybody else like them?
  9. I never have LP dreams My friend had a dream that Brad was suntanning in the winter though.
  10. I don't think LP is the best band but they're great because they have inspirational lyrics that everybody can relate to, their riiffs are addictive, the whole band is one comedian show, and they never cease to amaze me with all the charities and such.
  11. Wow, that's really cool. I didn't even know half that stuff about Sam. I think I heard that she was in her 30's...like 36 or something.
  12. I don't think I can dance to Linkin Park...or dance at all, better yet. "Faint" is a pretty catchy tune so that would be easy to dance too. I betcha we could slowdance to "My December" though.
