Wow! I thought you looked forward rather than backwards.
-
Well... I did reckon the past, in JustBS chronology, to determine where we are up until this point. One thing is quite clear, eddo entered the site before wez. And unless we adapt a December to January calendar, August will always come before September. I didn't care before... all of a sudden I do! Neither is a spellchecker, but evolution of technology provides free software to do all of this for you. There! You said it... you called evolution a science. And... again... you are preaching to the choir. Let me put it to you this way... A methodist turned fundamental baptist from Kansas dons a labcoat and argues to the side of creationism. And when said argument is objected by his peers, he quickly changes the subject to something off topic to the base of debate. His name... Duane Gish Scientific Creationism and Error Ohhhh.... you're speaking to an old boy who grew a Roman Catholic... which explains why I am no longer a Roman Catholic. Jesus never lost his cool? Matthew 21:12

Such a typical response of a narcissistic statist, inept at providing hard evidence for his cause and denies the other cause a voice out of fear of disobedience. Declare your belief with evidence, experiments, an artlce, a fukken bumper sticker.
-
I will agree to that. I have a quick and explosive temper, but it subsides as quick as the onset. Otherwise, I am cooler than the center seed of a cucumber.
-
Then why can't you take that "turn the other cheek" philosophy with Eddo? I have always had a strong and quick metabolism. I can pretty much eat what I want to, because I burn calories like my old Jeep burned gasoline. As a matter of taste, I rarely eat out at a restaurant. I don't drink carbonated soda and I have cut out all refined sugar from my diet. I am 6'2" and 213 lbs, as of this morning. Who knows? I could drop dead tomorrow.

If you are a voice, if you speak for other people, if you are hardened fast in your convictions, if you wholeheartedly believe that what you and the supposed believers put faith in: you wouldn't put the word TRUE in quotations. I guess the bindings and trappings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, his teachings, his pain, his heartache, his pity, and all do no apply to you, because you speak for the "true" believers. Jesus himself would jack your jaw.

I'm sorry, TJ. You have mistaken me for someone who gives a flying fukk. I just like to point sh!t like this out. Those other forums... irrelevant here. This is JustBS, not GF reborn or the Jungle 2: Electric Bugaloo. Again, I don't care. Again, I ask you how the future can be understood if we don't yet understand the past? Damn...
-
You're preaching to the choir. Ohh... this should be good. The future has not happened yet. What is there to learn of the future if the past is not understood first? Idiot. You're preaching to the choir, honey. I do not doubt a primal attraction to breasts through the process of sexual selection. I am not anti-religion... I have no problem with one having faith and in contrast my lack thereof. I think that most theists flock to the church for answers to the unanswerable and believe absurdities on a preconceived notion to dispell science. And where is your information on the experiments of creation? The only way... the ONLY way that I will take you seriously is if you can prove hard evidence in that favor. I am still waiting on the proof on the experimentation that makes creation more than a pseudoscience? This is where you are dead wrong. Can we look at the Bible as how people should behave in future, if the tales are not preserved as moral witness of character? Can we not learn about the horrors of the Holocaust so that they are not repeated? Can we not learn about 9/11 so that we may prevent another terrorist attack on US soil? All of these questions about the future are based... based on the interpretation of past events. The future has not happened yet, but it can be predicted. You make it sound like the future can be guessed without study. I can probably guess what Obama's motives are, but they can not be wholly predicted without looking at his past. Wow! Check out the big brain on TJ! You act as though you found plutonium by accident! What does the tell me? That TJ watches the Discovery Channel.
-
Yeah... you're a prince. Are you obese or something?
-
Aww... honey. Thanks for your concern, but I have no desire to moisturize to cure my working man's hands. A man's hands are a status symbol amongst us mouthbreathers up here in the Piedmont.
-
I KNOW DUDE! That right there, the agenda pushing, totally saps my compassion.
-
I bought an emu farm last year.
-
Don't you moisturize your hands? At least, that is what I read in a previous post about how your wife won't let you touch her with rough hands. Chemically, I find it hard to discern one for the other. Both of which, no matter how it is labeled, doesn't do a damn bit of good for a working man's hands. Publix has fukken awesome fresh made sub sammiches!!!

If you compare eddo's and wez' join dates, you will see that eddo joined before wez. The last time I checked August comes before September, but you're the expert on the matter. I'll let you decide. Holes, man. Holes. A comely thoroughfare to be sure, I mean, while driving the Mack truck I might stop and smell the roses and get a sausage biscuit. . TOOT! TOOT! CHUGGA! CHUGGA! BIG MACK TRUCK! What does that prove? What it says to me is that humans, across the globe, build shelter to protect themselves from the elements. Why? They saw Bob get eat up by a sandstorm, they saw Phil get struck by lightning, they saw Dwayne freeze to death, etc. etc.

So by your example, you just throw out random thoughts of Desmond Morris without taking sexual selection, based on primal females attracting a male, into consideration? You are not arguing evolution and creationism anymore, you are arguing a theory of evolution over another theory of evolution. Do you think I woke up one morning and declared myself a believer in evolution of the species? The bonobo female has a brightly colored snatch used in sexual signaling, it says "mount me, I am ready!".

] Well if God had meant us to have wings, we'd be angels. (sarcasm) There are legless lizards. Is it at all possible that a snake mated successfully with a lizard?

Well... Mr. Science Guy... enlarged breasts in homo sapiens erectus occur for many natural and well known reasons. Do homo sapiens not walk upright or do we stoop and drag our knuckles on the ground? Naturally, when posture is improved... there will be more room for growth and development. What about estrogen? Men can develop breasts like a woman (gynecomastia) and if that happened to me, I'd never leave the house. What about the pill? Does it not regulate the mestrual cycle? Ask your wife about premenstrual water retention and tenderness. All of this is garden variety zoology through the skeptical thoughts of Desmond Morris, a zoologist and an ethologist, and it can best be described in his book "The Naked Ape". Morris went on to say that copulation through missionary style sex, as opposed to rear-mounting, helped to develop feelings for each partner in means other than procreation. Could this be love? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3y5IeC7eEU]YouTube - Orangutans Having Sex at the National Zoo[/ame] These Orangutans do not have a problem copulating in the missionary position! And the female does not have enlarged breasts.. must be two gay orangutans getting it on. You said, a bit earlier and I omitted it on purpose, that scientists are confused by enlarged breasts in human females. And you cite the works of a known evolutionary theorists. How does that help your argument? Maybe you don't read enough.

A theory, in which, is still being tested. Evolution didn't happen overnight and billions of dollars can not hasten the process.
-
I didn't see anything worth debunking. Do you have links for your little notions? I mean, if you wholeheartedly believe what you typed up on your computer is true, you have to have a link, a book, an article that helped you formulate the opinion. Show me a link. Something!
-
Ok then... for TJ's benefit: Biology4Kids.com Scientific Method - perhaps the easiest way to describe the process. TJ can refute all he wants, but Evolution is a science albeit a theory still in testing or "beta" if you will. Scientific Laws take a lot more time. Creationism is a hypothesis, because most people and books and articles that I have read on the matter would rather debunk and cite flaws in evolution than provide tangible evidence of their claim. (I have read Michael Behe's book Darwin's Black Box and William Dembski's Intelliget Design: The Bridge Between Science and Theology.)
-
Your retort is laughable. You put belief in the metaphysical that can not be proven. Do you know the definition of science? What is the scientific method? The Scientific Method Prove the existence of God and creation science as an actual science.
-
At the very least, TJ, you know when you are being insulted. Anyone else, would've suddenly abandoned all previous thoughts and jumped on the author's bandwagon. Very smart. My drill instructor, Honeycutt, doled out the tapestry of beautiful and articulate insults to the likes of which I cannot describe. Even as I bark like him, I can not do it with a straigh face. One thing I do remember: Honeycutt always said, "Thinking will get you killed.". Al Gore's agenda is to use a manufactured crisis to bend the will of the people into a frenzy that they join him, join his celebrity sponsors, and his paid off idiotic scientists. My agenda, on the other hand, is to inform that because one person says "so" it's not the most logical and reasonable answer.

How about the supreme mother goddess "Durga" in Hinduism? . How about Our Lady of Perpetual Hope? Isis nurtures Horus.

How about the Mother Goddess idea? Venus of Hohle Fels Venus of Willendorf Pagan!

I never said that you were uneducated, you created a thread and gave a dissertation. I responded calling you brainwashed, because you told me not to call you that in the other thread. Very easily. I do believe in global warming as a natural phenomenon, but do not believe whatsoever that it is the result of man. Scientists date the earth as billions, but mankind has only been around for ten thousand. And the Industrial age has only been around for a hundred or so years... thus there is no way man has contributed to climate change. And who does Obama and Al Gore persuade to jump on their movements? Sheep who will buy into anything as long as it is liberty and freedom they are giving up and not security. I don't feel superior to anyone, because I believe everyone should have a high opinion of themselves, their lot in life, and how they made their way independent of government assistance. Although some happy ladies out there would beg to differ, I am not an evolutionary phenom or the prodigal son of man. I am, however, a free and critical thinker. believe in individual and property rights, laissez faire capitalism, I believe in constitutionally limited goverment, and I am an egoist who vehemently opposes altruism. I am a fierce opponent of statism, collectivism, and the applied theories of fascism, socialism, and communism.
