  1. If you believe in karma and age old mantras like "what goes around, comes around", Ted's suffering, in the end, was recompense for Chappaquiddick. Awww.... now the Democrats have lost their 60-seat majority in the Senate.

  3. Video is a little choppy and the audio not great, so here is the full quote... There are four ways in which you can spend money. You can spend your own money on yourself. When you do that, why then you really watch out what you?re doing, and you try to get the most for your money. Then you can spend your own money on somebody else. For example, I buy a birthday present for someone. Well, then I?m not so careful about the content of the present, but I?m very careful about the cost. Then, I can spend somebody else?s money on myself. And if I spend somebody else?s money on myself, then I?m sure going to have a good lunch! Finally, I can spend somebody else?s money on somebody else. And if I spend somebody else?s money on somebody else, I?m not concerned about how much it is, and I?m not concerned about what I get. And that?s government. And that?s close to 40% of our national income. - Milton Friedman

  5. Wonder how this high value team would operate if the Obama children were kidnapped and they had one suspect who in all probability knew where the girls were?
  6. I would rather have swine flu! Unlike Obamacare, I stand a better chance of getting rid of H1N1.
  7. Which would you rather have? Swine flu or Obamacare?
  8. I loved our marginally-intelligent HHS Secretary telling us yesterday that the Swine Flu is so dangerous because it is a new strain and most people don't have immunity. Well ... here's a flash for you. Every year we have a new flu strain and every year people don't have immunity. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
  9. "Most people can't think, most of the remainder won't think, the small fraction who do think mostly can't do it very well. The extremely tiny fraction who think regularly, accurately, creatively, and without self-delusion- in the long run, these are the only people who count." - Robert Heinlein

  12. I've said the same thing about Florida.
  13. This is just another instance of putting the theory of the Hegelian Dialectic into practice. It is the old "change" by the three step process. 1. The first step is to manufacture a problem with a predetermined solution. 2. The second step is to create opposition to the problem; in other words create anxiety and fear in the public. The ensuing conflict causes people to become panicked; therefore demanding action from their elected officials. 3. The third step is to offer the already predetermined solution as the fix to the ?problem?. Of course the ?solution? will necessitate a restriction of individual rights and liberties. Through this three step process people are sufficiently panicked. This emotional stress causes mental confusion whereby judgment is impaired and suggestibility is increased. Thus bringing about ?change? that would have been impossible to impose on people without proper psychological conditioning. When this happens people allow their freedoms and liberties be taken away without seeing the ramifications of what the ?change agents? had in mind all along. This process makes people react with emotion and cease logical and critical thought. If you look over the political landscape for the past 100 years you can easily see this Marxist tactic put in play over and over again without fail. This is how far leftist, extremist Marxists have gained power while the liberty loving moderates and conservatives have had no clue as to the fact that they were just pawns in a grand transformational game. This process is most easily seen in the healthcare debates. During the early days of the Clinton administration Hilary came out with her healthcare plans. Republicans thought they won a victory when the plan was scrapped, but in reality they were being used. This simply served to put the issue of healthcare in the public mind as being an issue that was a problem. For the next 15 years the Marxists hammered home the idea that healthcare was a problem and government was the solution. Now that the public is sufficiently panicked the time is ripe to begin the dialogue that will ensure that the political right will take baby steps to the left in the debate on health care in order to ?compromise? on a solution. After this process is over it will just be repeated again and again while the opposition (Republicans) continue to compromise and take baby steps to the left until government healthcare is passed and freedom and liberty is slowly lost. This health care debate is just one arm of this ?Cloward-Piven? strategy. They want to flood the government until it cannot bear the economic burden. Then when the public is panicked and not thinking logically, capitalism will be blamed and pilloried. They will give us a solution under a cleverly guised term, but bearing it will be in essence socialism. Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis
  14. Ohhh! I love happy endings!
  15. I know, it's hard to admit that you were wrong, isn't it? I mean, after all, how in the world can you admit that voting for someone with absolutely no experience at all - a former ACORN street organizer - someone who gravitated to Marxist professors and communist student groups in college - someone with no record of significant accomplishment at any endeavor - and someone who ran for office on the basis of focus-group slogans - how can you ever admit that such a vote might have been a mistake? Do you see our economy improving? Have you noticed the improving employment figures? Are you impressed by the burgeoning national debt that your children are going to have to pay back? Are you looking forward to seeing your health care rationed? How about the nationalization of General Motors, Citigroup and others? That's why you put that bumper sticker on your car, isn't it? So Obama could use some of his immense business experience to run some of our major industries. You do know he will nationalize the banks soon, don't you? Is that the change you had in mind? Don't you see how smart this media made messiah really is? He's raising taxes while other nations are lowering business and personal taxes to fight the economic downturn. You knew that he knew something that the other world leaders didn't know ... didn't you? How about our shows of determination and strength to North Korea and Iran? Obama really has the Gargoyle and Shorty in a tizzy, doesn't he? And I'm sure you're very impressed by Obama's instantaneous backing of that wannabe dictator and Chavez acolyte from Honduras. So ... still got that Obama bumper sticker on your car? It's one thing to have been so profoundly ignorant in the last election. It's quite another to advertise it.
  16. Well, Newsbot, that is why the government is expanding expotentially.... to spread the headache around.
  17. Ooops! Terribly sorry about all that, old boy. I should've edited the imbecile's post down to "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH".
  18. Not while they're giving them away! Go to any dealership and the average Joe Bad Credit can roll out in a brand new car, sure he will have inflated payments, maybe a balloon payment at the end of the loan, or he might just have a repoman take it away. Oooo.... nice. All of your little speech would matter, if you were paying attention. I know! Those stingy old greedy bastards wanting to pay some bills, payroll, and the like! Will the greed ever stop? Ohh... it will be popular. Don't get me wrong. Every disgusting fat body from here to fukken California will jump on that bandwagon. The comparison is a simple one and it is a legitimate rebuttal. The government has absolutely positively no incentive for doing a great job in an efficient manner. The government has absolutely no reason to be honest and forthright. The government has absolutely no motive to make a profit. Your health will be in the government's hands and that can be compared to the dealerships who have their livelihood in the government's hands. Wow... thanks for the basic economic lesson! What good is the money that hard work, toil, tears, sweat, blood, and aching bones has earned if inflation and a trillion dollar deficit looms over us? I'd almost give you the $4500 to take Basic Economics classes at your local community college or online... University of Phoenix --- Hook'a brutha up wid an ed-you-cashen. . .
  19. Your little soapbox, bully pulput style of address and redress is just as bad as Mr. Gates' little tirade, TJ. Repeating yourself over and over and over and over... the Internet Police should be knocking your front door down.
  20. And my neighbor is black. I mean deep... almost purple black. His children have Obama's skin tone. I know his wife doesn't even look my way, either. Once you go black... you know the rest.
  21. At the cost of my lunch... loud and fukken clear.
  22. I made all this fried chicken and sliced up a watermelon. I wonder if my black cop neighbor would enjoy some... he has a beautiful white wife and three darling children.
  23. Fukk.... I was eating lunch.
  24. At what cost? For how long? Why not just write a check for $4500 to every household in the United States? If that money doesn't get used to pay down personal debts, you know the entitlement looter crowd will go out and buy things they couldn't afford before any ways. SUVs, CUVs, Hybrids! Big screens! DVDs! DVRs! That operation you've always needed! With a $4500 check in my hands, I could buy a sh!t ton of lottery tickets. My rather flamboyant reply will earn me some rebukes, but I don't fukken care. I've always believed that to jolt or surge the economy is to get people out there spending frivolously. Better yet... pool the money to pay down the national deficit.
