Shoot the damn horse.

As I said in my previous response, I do understand what splintering will do to a party and I have no intention of regretting my vote(s). These socialists, and their big chief, in power were escorted into power for not having an "R" next to their name. The vast majority of people cannot tell the differences between the GOP and "conservative" philosophy, because the administration under Bush diluted such principles as they had. In order for a "conservative" (I like classical liberalism myself), there will have to be a third party to rise to power from the shambles wrought by the RINOs. That's what I voted for in the 2008 election... to usher in resistance to the New World Order bent on centrally planning our economy and the axis of powers distributed from Washington. I voted against the tyranny of the majority, the whims of idiotic notions of democracy, and the two party system so quick to accept a bribe as to make one. The groups are not so splintered, however, with the exception of fence-straddling Democrats, Congress passed healthcare legislation with those votes that were bought or coerced and by those who vote along party lines. "iuris ignorantia est cum ius nostrum ignoramus" - it is ignorance of the law when we do not know our own rights

This spells disaster for the productive class in this country, but the entitlement class are sure happy today. I hope and pray that the damage made against our Republic and Constitution can be unmade.

Well, go sell that sh t to your tourists. I know that full and well, but you shouldn't look at me to point the fingers. Turn your finger towards to the confederacy of fools, the ignorant fringe, who get their news and information from Facebook friends, Entertainment Tonight, American Idol, and the Kardashians. Walk with the blind man if you must, but my eyes are wide ass open. esse quam videri - to be rather than to seem

Wow......... Whoa! -
I consider the fact that you have a hard time wrapping your little mind around those who differ in opinion or to those who don't hitch their yoke to diluted ideals, but I am perfectly fine with that and ready to move on from there. No one has principles these days... I am fine with that. I will always vote the way my heart guides me. I am far, out, and beyond compromising my integrity. I will assume that you are willing to bend to keep the same old, same old hacks in power who do nothing and reap the benefits.

"Kept his ear" "Cornhusker".... IWS I am rolling.

Sometimes the easiest way to deal with what I deem to be a problem is to wish it away. Mastering my anger, I realize that the best angle to take is to be a peace officer and not a cop. I don't want to use the powers granted to me for ill or for my own device, I want to use them as a last resort. Time will tell if you can hold up your end of the contract. I'm rooting for you, big guy. I will take your change with a grain of salt. If you are going to meet me halfway, you're going to have to stop with these open hand and buddy-buddy references. Whatever grudges guided my keystrokes before were buried when I decided not to be a cop, but a peace officer. While you're down there...

Nor has it applied to my lifetime (of voting) in my state. A few Democrats here and there aside (mainly in more metropolitan and the Perimeter of Atlanta areas), Georgia tends to vote Republican. I could've penciled in "Dwayne Rufus Collins III" but it wouldn't have mattered, McCain still carried Georgia. Than again, Jimmy Carter came from Georgia. Then we fall back on the fact he is loved by the lefties in the more metropolitan areas of Georgia. He is really disliked in my district.

Yes. I said it and I don't take it back. I don't have to like you, Times, but moving forward I won't treat you unfairly. I will, however, hold you accountable as you have said that there are no hard feelings and that you're willing to move forward. I take that as a contract, however I don't expect you to uphold your end. That said, who will hold me accountable? There are two people around here that can strip my status away as they gave it to me. I'm pretty damn sure Cloaked and Bender don't want this site to turn into "Us vs. Them", so my pledge is to be fair and weigh each situation carefully. Right now, you're making this moving forward part harder than it needs to be.

There is something to be said of those who profit off of the misery of others, and that is "assholes.". And if I had the guns, I'd shoot these damned profiteers.

Come November, when some of these 25%-45% socialists on either side of the aisle are voted out of office, they will pretend to have been "conservative" all along.

Spidey sense tingling.... Perhaps this will be a move in the direction towards auditing the Federal Reserve. Bernanke... your treason trial is coming. -
I picked Cornell to beat Temple, but I doubt they will go any further. Ivy League schools can't hang with the bigger dogs.

I wonder if Glenn Beck will come out and tell us how much he hates the police officers, firefighters, the other laborers who helped clean up after 9/11.

I assume that since they accepted the bribe, they know that they are on the way out of office, and they'll vote "YES" as promised... yet out of spite.

Why do you think Rep. Bill Nelson was targeted?

If I am preaching to the choir, then why do you consistently and continuously bring up things that I already know the answer. If anything, you've been preaching to the choir since your inception into this community. There are conservative socialists and there are the more progressive type socialists (Common era liberals), I will not be a party to electing someone who I feel doesn't cut the mustard. Too many politicians float around that "gray area' that I spoke of with no allegiance to the people who elected them, but the propensity to pander to them at election time. I don't vote for politicians who I deem are addicted to the frills, ride high on power, and pillage the public treasure. I vote on principles all the way into the black, because, financially it is good to be in the black. That's where we need to be: balanced budget, Federal Reserve audited, promotion of the private sector, powers enumerated, and scaled back global spending on long and sustained warfare. You don't think your McCains of the country have their own brand of socialism to bring forth? When you vote for a 25% socialist and a 100% socialist wins the election, they'll tend to meet in middle and compromise to pass legislation. Our Founding Fathers went to war for a lot less. Yeah... not sure how the football and baseball analogy seems so prevalent to you. It sort of reminds me of Obama comparing the purchase of auto insurance with the purchase of healthcare: stupid at best, pitifully desperate at the least. I have no desire of voting for a "conservative" or a "liberal". I have no intention of voting "Democrat" or "Republican". I do have a strong inclination towards those candidates who represent the aspect of our Founding Fathers, who bide by the Constitution as the restrictions on the State, those who cherish civil rights and liberties over security, and those who believe that the federal government does more harm than good. I hate socialism in all of its forms and will always vote against it. I feel sorry for you if you can't see past the petty R and D next to their names.

The problem with TJ is that he is not the type of person to move forward. His whole "shtick" relies on bringing up past grievances and using them as leverage. He can say what he will, but I have moved on and will be completely square in my dealings with everyone. At the end of the day, (albeit a very cool one. wink wink) this is just a community on the Internet it has no bearings on my day-to-day life. There are hundreds of sites like this one on the Internet, but I doubt any other mod or admin would be as gracious as the staff here has been. EXCELSIOR! Thanks for the welcome, IWS.

I don't remember her name, either.
