  1. It's been in both sides of my quads. The 07 had a crank bearing fail, but I think that was the junk hotrods bearings I put in there. No problem other then that. I also run it in the right side with the rekluses, make sure to stay with the white bottle not the blue bottle. The rekluse did not like the blue bottle. I changes both sides after each ride also.

    Hot Cams Stage 2

Right intake was .004 and left was .003. Pulled the cam tower off and shimmed it. I put the shims in the pockets on the retainers and grabbed the cups to put them on top and thats when I noticed the top of the bucket was trashed. Started looking at the cam and it had taken .007 off the lobe. I had a stage 1 cam there from a spare motor and another used bucket I put in it to get through the race this weekend. I had no reason to pull it apart either, it was starting just fine just wanted to check it out.

Its for the 05. You know how you were giving me crap for checking the valves before each race? I'm sure it wouldn't have made the whole race this weekend. Let me check the lift on the gen 1 HRC's and I will let you know. What kind of money?

    Hot Cams Stage 2

Looking for a low hour stage 2 cam. Had a bucket come apart and took out the cam.
  5. Most frames that are gussetted need the front gussets trimed for a puck style to fit. My Baer needed cut for the precision on the XC quad.
  6. On bikes 1 and 3 care to give any advise on what parts to use? None of the bikes have been on a dyno, so I dont have any idea what they are making to be honest.
  7. I have 4 450's that I have been apart of putting together. 1st quad - 07 CW 477 kit 12.1:1 Stock Stroke Ported Head (Rage) HRC jetting and needle HRC Cam No Lid on the filter HRC Head pipe w/White Brothers Exhaust Rekluse 2nd Quad 2005 Stock Stroke Stock Bore Weisco 13.1:1 piston Hot Cams Stage 2 Stock carb other then jetting Full Dasa Exhaust Aftermarket Aluminum air box with uni filter Rekluse Quad 3 2007 Stock Stroke CW 477 Kit 12.1:1 Stage 2 Hot Cams Quadified Ported Head Port Matched Intake No lid on filter HRC jetting and Neddle Big Gun Full exhaust Rekluse 4th Quad 2007 +3 Crank CW +3 cylinder Kit 12.1:1 Hot Cams Stage 3 Stock Head HRC Head pipe with White Brothers Exhuast Stock carb other then jetting Stock Clutched All 4 quads run side beside each other. Is the carb holding them back from making a big difference in each quad? The 05 is my XC quad so I dont need it to make 60hp and wear me out for 2hrs, but the other three are weekend quads, that get drag raced and beat on through the woods. I really thought we would have saw a noticable difference in one of them with the ported heads VS stock head. Thoughts?
  8. This coming from a MAINTENANCE guy?
  9. Most of the aftermarket stuff does. If not remove the parts you want, drill, tap and install a zerk.
  10. Filler her up till it runs out..........haha
  11. Most times it does not need anything, other times it a .001 or .002. Call it as you see it, I see it as a maintenance item. Thread title is "themaintenance thread"
  12. East Central Illinois is finally on the map
  13. I work for the largest publicly owned company you have never heard of ADM. I run a grain terminal.
  14. Unlike you all way out west, we have this thing in the Midwest called MUD. Then to make it even better we go out and abuse ourselves for 2hrs racing through it and we end up with whats to the "left". That was actually after the first lap, so 23 min is all it took for me to make it look brown/tan'ish. :chuck-ball:
