Bon Jour Rebecca, hello admin, hi everyone else looking at the forum. I'm an embedded software developer with varied experience, and I'm currently working on a project that will draw art to user specifications. Originally I was considering writing this for a digital photo frame but, out of 100+ manufacturers, not one would give me the info I needed to be able to write to the display or read any hardware inputs. Instead, my plan is to write this for Android so it can run on phones and tablets. My code is written in Forth, and I've seen that there is at least one Forth implementation on the Android. At this point, I'm in the stage of researching devices before I decide which one to use as my development platform (and which to use as my cell phone, which may or may not be the same unit). I'm not even a newbie yet in the android world, but I'm looking forward to diving in and developing for it. --H
