thanks for the tips and for all your opinions. :] it's making my decision a little easier. i think i'll meet him at the mall and stay where there's alot of people and if he seems like a creep then i'll stop talking to him. but if he still seems cool and we decide to meet again then i'll make sure that's it's somewhere with alot of people again. haha.

hey guys. i know i hardly ever post here anymore but i just wanted to see if anyone could give me advice on something. ok so here it goes: a random guy IMed me saturday night. i hardly ever respond to random IMs but i was having a bad day and wanted someone to talk to anyway, so i responded. i shouldn't have, but anyway. he said he saw my myspace and wanted to get to know me. so we started talking and he seemed like a nice guy. i'm 18 and he's 17, by the way. he lives about 15 minutes away from me. now he wants to meet me. he said we could meet at a mall so there would be alot of people around. half of me is telling me not to meet him. i know that i trust people too easily. i don't wanna meet him and have him turn out to be a murderer or something. when you meet people online, you never know whether you can trust them or not. but the other half of me is telling me to meet him. i NEVER take any chances in life. i'm 18. i wanna try something new for once. he seems like a nice guy. and if we just meet once at the mall, nothing bad can happen, right? he keeps asking me what day i can hang out and i don't know what to say cuz i haven't decided if i actually want to meet him or not. so, what do you guys think? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

American Idol is my guilty pleasure lol. I watch every episode. Yes, Paula Abdul does look drunk, especially in the last episode when she was talking about the salad and the melon or something like that. I don't even know what she was saying. I want Chris Daughtry to win. Definately the best I've ever seen on the competition. I even have his songs on my iPod lol. And I drew a picture of him. Yeah, I'm crazy.

I'm either known as "the shy/quiet girl" or "the LP fan". And I'm usually known as "the smart one" in my english classes, but in the rest of my classes I'm the dumb one lol. But for the most part I'm the normal person in school. I don't really have a specific "stereotype" or anything.

Nice contest. I voted for Chris and NoEnd because they're good looking haha. And I voted for Stenners because he reminds me of my sister's husband lol. It was a hard choice though. And then I voted for Marianne because she's pretty. But everyone that entered was cute/hot/pretty.. whatever. Good luck to everyone!

I don't really like football, I'm more of a baseball or hockey person. But I'd rather have the Seahawks win. Steelers have a good chance though.

I heard about that. I think it's dumb. It's the people's fault if they listen to it that loud and damage their hearing. I personally like the fact that it gets loud because sometimes I don't feel like wearing the headphones so I just put my iPod next to me with the volume all the way up and I can hear it just fine. But, of course there's always someone who feels the need to sue...

Their songs are all open to interpretation. I don't feel like explaining it so yeah, I give up.

I get into the argument about there being a 'Singles Day' to make up for having a Valentine's Day with my friends all the time. Because I say that all the couples don't need another day to celebrate their 'love'. They already have their anniversary. And all it does is make the single people feel bad [well most of the ones I know]. And then my friends [that actually like valentines day] say that it's not necessarily about celebrating couples but it's about celebrating 'love' altogether. Which is true, but most people don't celebrate it for anything else but their boyfriend or girlfriend, especially at school. There's already enough making out at school.. I don't want to see more. But then again, I probably only feel this way because I don't have someone to celebrate it with. I usually wear black and boycot v-day but I think this year I'm gunna try to make it as normal as possible for me. I'll pretend like it's just another day.. Wow that was alot..

I'm 17. Turning 18 in July.

First of all, Linkin Park isn't a 'he'. Second of all, their lyrics aren't retarded. Well I guess that's your opinion. But anyway, if you think about it, it makes sense. It's a metaphor. The moon's light comes from the sun and the songs saying that the sun doesn't 'give light to the moon' thinking that the moon should owe the sun something in return. It's like saying that people shouldn't give somebody something and expect something in return. I'm not very good at explaining things but I think that's what those lyrics mean.

I was just wondering if anybody else likes the band Amber Pacific. My friend told me about them when I asked her if she knew any more good bands to put on my iPod. I listened to a few songs by them and they are my current favorite band [All time fave is still LP]. If you haven't heard of them then you should listen to Gone So Young or Poetically Pathetic.
