OK, I've just enabled this one, it can be indeed a useful function. If it will cause any problems I can always revert it. There already was a discussion regarding this matter a long time ago. It is configured now to allow editing during 24 hours from initial posting. (even this is too much IMHO). So you have 24 hours to correct mistakes you might find or change your mind about something. This way the "edit" function serves it's purpose. If you come back a week or a month later to edit your original post you just confuse people. In this case you better double-post.

I do not have a problem with it. Just would like to have a consent of current active admin (UM0) first. Vash is (virtually) gone, right? I'll then demote him. ATLien will stay a chartered admin regardless of his activity as the site's creator (similarly as Qwest was as former host of LPF).

I believe he can do that. Granting mod status is a matter of changing the primary usergroup in user options. Admins can do it.

I understand your frustration not being able to contact me and I agree that it is not good. As I said I'm not going to abandon LPF and I'm going to find ways to devote more time to it.

The ad in question has been added by Qwest without my permission. Ad removed and Quest deprived his admin rights as it is not the first time (sorry George, I can't afford to to watch you all the time). Nevertheless if I ever decide to put up ads it is up to me guys. I invested $$ to buy the website from Quest two and a half years ago. And it is a bit strange to hear things like "you can make money with a site but not care about what's going on". I'm keeping the site online and the fact that I do not visit here much means just that I'm busy with other projects. I'm not planning to abandon LPF however. Unfortunately I did not even had time to thoroughly read those private messages from some of you. Will do so soon.
