  1. Ok, being Greek and living these riots first hand (well, not too first-hand, I wasn't IN the mob of enraged asses who were running around breaking everything) I have to tell you that the thing is simply this: Since the specific government was elected there have been numerous attempts by the rest of the opposition to overthrow it. And by attempts I mean that they tried and dug up all kinds of political, religious etc scandals, even fake ones, in order to tarnish the image of the government, especially the Prime Minister. I'm not saying the government is flawless, but those scandals still existed many years ago, why didn't anyone say anything about them whan the leaders were different? So, now, taking advantage of the tragic incident, namely the 15-year-old student's death, the leftists found the perfect opportunity to stirr things up and started urging their followers to fight in order to eliminate the "government of killers" as they typically say. There have been rumours too that the eye witnesses who testified that the policeman aimed directly at the kid to deliberately kill him were all paid to say it. But that was concealed of course and no one paid attention. As for the students... It's not the student's fault guys, the problem is that students always start peaceful demonstrations and then a bunch of anarchists with stockings and hoods and makeshift bombs and weapons mingle with them and find the opportunity to break, burn and just cause chaos. Because it's chaos they seek..not justice... But who can say anything? The plot is so well-set that now the police are collectively bastards and fascists who go around killing people. I'm just saying this. During the time the anarchists went around destroying innocent people's property the police had orders not to touch anyone cause then everything would get worse. Their hands were tied, they were just standing there watching some lunatics burning the cities and were unable to protect us!! Is that democracy? Who's the fascist now?? I'm sorry but I'm terribly ashamed of us as a nation right now. This isn't fighting for a better world...this is called taking advantage of innocent victims to benefit politically and in other despicable ways...
  2. I know it's been months but I just wanted to let all my friends who were kind enough to help me with this problem know that it turned out great and I and B are now together! Thanks for all the support!! I love you all! And I'm very very happy with my brand new Rob looking boyfriend...
  3. Happy Birthday my adorably perverted darling! <3 Hope you're always happy and smiling! Love ya! *hugs*
  4. Lol, I tend to express myself in a rather complicated way at times. All I meant was it's rare to read a convo between two people who respect each other even though they might disagree at some point. Hence the "admirably democratic" comment lol It's the art of knowing how to converse without fighting
  5. I'm sad... disappointed... Probably each one of you have heard about what happened here in Greece that has turned the whole country into a battlefield. What pains me is that a bunch of anarchists took advantage of that tragic incident to just cause chaos, break and burn innocent people's houses and property. It saddens me like you can't believe... The balance between the freedom of democracy and the freedom to just destroy without consequences seems to be very delicate after all... I scoff at us...Greeks were supposed to be the ones who created civilization and look at us...Decadence. I'm ashamed... :( Rant over...
  6. ^^ I just love it when we keep our conversations on such an admirably democratic level! I see where you're coming from and I can't say your logic is wrong either. And I think we have just made a lot of people think. That's very important!
  7. I totally respect your opinion, as it is my habit to always respect people's opinions even if I don't wholeheartedly agree. I just wanted to clear this up before I give my own reasoning on why I think sex before marriage may not be as bad as some may think. Setting aside matters of impatience, urges that can't be controlled and stuff like that I will focus on something else. I have heard many women as well as guys say that their other half seemed perfect untill they got to sleep together. Then they realised that their partner was either too kinky for their tastes or (to another extreme) unwilling to have any form of sexual contact or, even worse, on their very first night as a married couple they realised that their partner was gay and just got married to them to cover it up! Some girl I knew really well unfortunately found that out on the first day she was married to a guy, when he told her quite insensitively that "Ok, now we are married cause that's what people like, but I want you to know that I'm gay so we will have separate bedrooms and I will sleep in one of them with my boyfriend." She was so shocked that she just stormed off, took the car and disappeared. Found out she had been killed in a road accident a couple of days later. Ok, that was rather extreme but my point is that sex is something important in a marriage and, in my humble opinion, one has to make sure they and their partner are compatible EVEN in that aspect before they decide to get married. A lot of people have discovered many unpleasant things about their sexual partner when it's too late to think twice (that is after marriage). So, the bottom line is IN MY OPINION ALWAYS that like people spend time together and maybe even live together as a test to see if they can spend their life together, they should also test if their sexual habits and preferences coincide before they take the big step. My two cents anyway. Like I said, I am just making conversation, each person is free to have their own beliefs, I totally respect them.
  8. Awww Jeezy ^^ Look at those puppy eyes...<3 One of your best pics so far! Looking really GOOD!
  9. Na Meineis Edo - Michalis Hatzigiannis (That's the title and artist in Greeklish anyway, if I wrote it in Greek nobody would understand lol) It's a masterpiece of Greek music! No wonder we are so romantic people <3
  10. You are the absolute sweetness <3 Thanks *hugs* It's hayfever after all, cause today i got a runny nose and I sneeze like crazy! Haha you wouldn't want to be around me today lol
  11. Yay, we haven't seen a passionate LP fan in this place for quite sometime! Welcome my friend, I'm Jojo! And I agree with you, even though some people may argue that there are better bands as far as technique and shit goes, in MY heart they are certainly the best! No other band moves me the way they do.
  12. I have a terribly sore throat and I can't swallow...
  13. Haha Jos your room is like... the paradise of every poster maniac! Awww very girly! Sarah, you're a close second, don't sell yourself short... Mine... http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g189/rbffe/29-11-08_1259.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g189/rbffe/29-11-08_1301.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g189/rbffe/29-11-08_1302.jpg The last one is my weekly work schedule. Both language school and privates. These two pics are on the wall right beside my desk and it was a meagre attempt to make the whole going to work thing a little more pleasant haha. Rob's holding the hectic days (Tuesdays and Fridays at the language school) hence the grave look, while Mike is more relaxed with the privates LOL

  15. The way you phrased the above sentence leaves room for the following question Tommie... Who do you consider a sexy bitch? Devon, or the cat? I just wanna say you all look great!
