  1. Thanks for the advice! I'm being told the same thing on almost a daily basis haha
  2. Haven't you been promote before that?
  3. Yo Yo Yo! I finally managed to get a new journal going! Ok, so maybe first of some basics: Name: Josi Age: 23 Location: Bavaria, Germany Occupation: Student (English & History studies) Hobbies: Travelling Music: almost everything - currently lots of EDM So let's see where to start? University just started a week ago and I'm still trying to figure it all out. This is again one of those semesters where the profs want you to print billions of pages for whatever purpose haha I'm having mostly seminars for my English studies and I'm noticing how my English is fading slightly once I stop using it which nowadays sadly isn't as often than back in the days (at like the age of 15) because I simply don't use it anymore (I used to Skype a lot with friends from abroad). But well it's still on an acceptable level so it's fine. I got a job at my university an asisstant. I'll basically be copying, creating lists and do some research for a professor. Even though I won't get much money out of that I'm still very excited about it! Apprently it's a huge plus for the CV and you can get into some contact with university staff which might be helpful for later jobs (you never know). Plus getting such a job is pretty difficult so I'm quite proud of myself Other than that I'm "working" at the student bar in my dormity. We organize parties each wednesday for the students here. So far it's working pretty good but there's no money in it for us, but hey can't always work for money right? It's a lot of work but it's still fun, it's always good to hear that people like it and are even proud of my team doing such a great job (we haven't had the bar running properly for a few years). What else is going on... so far I don't have much planned for this year, finish the semester, pass all exams, go on short holiday trip with my boyfriend and work all summer. But I hope I'll be able to finish my studies next spring and than maybe add a Masters degree, move together with my boyfriend and start living the life (seperated from parents haha). I guess that's it for now
  4. I'm not really up to date with LP anymore but I only now of the cover (they played it at he iTunes festival right?) Google doesn't really help either, could only find that no one really ever heard Adele commenting on it :/
  5. Cool thing about your job! I bet you're a good teacher Oh I played Shadow of Mordor and I think it's pretty intresting cause usually the enemies all wait in line to attack you and here all the orc just run you over basically haha Bout the not sleeping well, try some tea before sleeping, my bro had the same problem once and it got better with tea (there are some special teas that basically help you get tired).
  6. The Mentalist is pretty cool! Different from all the CSI etc stuff (tho I like that as wel haha) This is my current list of series I watch: The Walking Dead Once upon a Time Grimm Sherlock Switched at Birth The 100 Penny Dreadful (some pretty fucked up shit right there) and every once in a while: Fresh off the boat Grey's Anatomy Vikings There are some series I start watching but just can't get hooked for some reason. Just like Breaking Bad, I watched like the first 4-5 Episodes and liked it but never realy continued it
  7. That's pretty cool! Always nice to have family or friends somewhere else
  8. About the banner: Some of us used to work a lot with photoshop (I still do at times). So maybe for a start if you need something just post it (maybe in the Elite Thread). I personally have stuff going on but if a week isn't too late I could come up with a new banner and am willing to help if needed
  9. Peteee! Great idea with the new journal! I think that even if it might not go too great right now that you'll make it You always did didn't you? I'm excited to read more about what's going on
  10. You should go haha Canada is awesome I personally have never been to Greece but it's on my list! Europe is pretty cool because of it's variety (different languages, cultures etc) I travel a lot and have seen many places here (England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Croatia - dunno if I missed anything haha) Though we're all on one continent it's still so different. It's always nice to see how people from other countries live. So if you (or anyone else) needs any advice I'm happy to help
  11. I'll try to join you on this one
  12. I've been to the States (New York) and Canada (Toronto area) (since I'm from Europe that's overseas for me haha). I personally loved it! The cities are huge and the distances are way bigger than over here. But I liked that. I'm a fan of English since I'm 10, and therefore informing myself a lot on life and lifestyle in English speaking countries, so I didn't really have any problems adapting. I can't wait to travel overseas again and one day maybe even move to Canada
  13. The Walking Dead. Simply in love with it <3
