Ok. So here is an update. They were pricing me by individual shift stars to the kit. Not the whole kit as one price. The shift star is $100 (normally $139.95), the arm is $35 (normally $49.95), and the spring for $20 (normally $35). So we r saving $65. And the $85 that they said for the shifts...

Not cheapest but most affordable yet quality. But since I posted this I was given info on the factory pro shift star kit. Which I got factory pro to do a group buy discount. I am gonna try this kit before I get into the gears. Looks promising

I cut everything out except the "frame" and wrapped the outerwear around the lid so the lid holds it in place. Didn't trust the elastic band to hold on its own

I will post a picture of what I made. Works great and was cheap compared to the ehs.lid.

Cut your lid up and buy an outerwear cover for your airbox. And use the the cut up lid as a frame to hold the outerwear cover in place. Total cost $20
