the one thing that isn't engaged in at this point in its life -- job search

if you sent, say, a rant about how stupid republicans are, the vase might

not agree politically

and feel offended (it's quick to adopt that stance about almost anything so

it's a prophylactic measure)

perhaps send it something that's all in French.

the motif of the post shuold center around something that these depressed

objects would be wholly uninterested

in, while still not being offensive.

the vase receiving this post if from that dynasty would scratch their grey

matter in wonderment

trying to figure out why you would send them something they're not

interested,

but certainly they couldn't get offended.

or send it a webpage of photos that have nothing to do with anything and

have no connection

to anything

No vase of this type could say to you -- you pig, you sent me job search

information, I'm

never talking to you again

it would seem clueless and frankly completely unuseful to anyone, even real

job seekers

Here's a tie who lost his job

"The Case Western Reserve University School of Law dean whose opinion piece

in The National Law Journal this summer called on his colleagues to unite

against the U.S. News & World Report law school rankings is stepping down at

the end of the semester.

Gary Simson has held the law school's top post for two years. The school

announced that Robert H. Rawson Jr., a partner in the Cleveland office of

Jones Day, will take over as the interim dean while a permanent replacement

is found.

In a July op-ed piece in the NLJ, Simson argued that the ranking system is

problematic because law schools feel pressure to make decisions that will

boost their rankings rather than improve legal education. He encouraged law

school administrators to stop participating in the ranking process. That

call came after Case Western saw its rankings slip 10 places to 63 on this

year's list. "--nlj.com,

Veghghghghrrry intereshinkk! (Yoo ever see Rowan and Martin's laugh in?) I

won't do the next bit.

What I said B4 someone mysteriously snipped it can come in useful. During my

seven years on the Dole, or Job Squeakers' Allowance as they like to call

it - as if we all need oiling! - I was going after administration jobs, and

to get out of the really unsuitable ones they kept sending me after, there

was a three-letter get-out. On the application forms or e-mails I'd type

'teh' for 'the' once or twice. Simple as that.

Letters reversed = two fingered typist, so that was that. A rejection

letter! Even though on a good day I can still manage 30WPM. My age didn't

help either. When I was made redungdent I was 53.

Russia fleet 'may leave Ukraine'

By Mark Franchetti

BBC Panorama reporter and Sunday Times Moscow correspondent

Russia's deputy PM has told the BBC the country's Black Sea Fleet will

vacate its naval base in Sevastopol in 2017 if the Ukrainian government

demands it.

Speaking exclusively to Panorama, Sergei Ivanov said Russia would seek to

renew its lease on the Crimean port, but will move the Fleet if it cannot.

The move will anger nationalists who consider Sevastopol a part of Russia.

It is feared the port could become a flashpoint in already strained

relations between Russia and the West.
