60% Of What You Say Is ****!

Id have to say 90% of what Letterman said was ****. And his ego just kept getting boosted by his lame audience. Why didn’t he ever answer any questions? Letterman doesn’t acknowledge that all the intelligence was flawed. I think in time we will find out just how close the intelligence was though.

You go with the information you have at the time. If someone points a BB gun at you do you shoot first or ask him what caliber gun he has first?

Cindy Shehan is a ******* crybaby! What would her son think of her? I'm sure he would be ashamed of her.

This is for the Cindy's of the world!

Snafu, a bit gruesome, but blunt, and obvious... I don't think that Iraq was involved with 9/11, so I guess they're there because of what I saw in the video.

9/11 is the straw that broke the camels back. Or woke up some of the lib's. Saddam had not complied with resolutions. The U.N. could only threaten more sanctions. Big ******* deal. Saddam invaded Kuwait and ignored the Cease Fire agreement. He threw out the inspectors and our intelligence said he had WMD' S. He gassed thousands of Kurds. These chemicals are WMD'S. He would not comply so we were forced to take him out. As an added bonus we got to liberate Iraq. There are more ****** up places and more people need to be liberated from an evil Dictator such as Saddam. Being the Politically Correct society we live in we need provocation. Saddam gave us plenty.

Good one...

Sometimes I think to myself of why people like Saddam can be such hypocrites...

He calls the Kurds "a race of disgrace" but perhaps without Salah'adin Ayybud, one of the greatest Muslims, kurdish, he wouldn't think of rising to any power...

True. But we had already set our sites on Bin Laid-by-a-camel. We didn't need to go after Saddam. Not yet, anyway. Oh well...

I would hope the USA could multitask.

I'm sure were gonna need that capability in the near future.

Well, since Bush is in their, we won't be able to. He has a one track mind. Any news on bin laden? no. On saddam? **** yeah. Why? Cause Bush wants oil. Or intelligence was faulty. Or both. Or bush wanted oil and the faulty intelligence was what he needed to justify it.

I don't think Bush wanted oil... I think he KNEW the US would fall into a HUGE oil crisis... So he decided to do it the easy way... Kinda loyal and ****** up.

It was good to see Dave take on BOR, especially on the issue of Cindy Sheehan's motivation, which I've heard roundly criticized by other conservatives. I mean, "run by left-wing elements"?? How the **** can they know? Were they there? Have they experienced her grief?

Letterman asked BOR absolutely the right question.

And, about Letterman's "right" to speak out on contemporary issues: I'm concerned that some are acting as though there should be a credential of some kind for stating an opinion in a public forum. Since when? Barbra Streisand, Toby Keith, George Clooney, Charlton Heston (before he became ill; I assume he's not doing much public speaking now), Ron Silver: all have a right to voice their thoughts, to be given whatever weight their insights and research into issues may merit. But I suspect many of those dismissing the musings of entertainers, in particular, are doing so because most fall onto one side of the political spectrum--and it's not that of (most of) the critics. Remeber folks: A critic is someone who knows the way but can't drive the ********* car.
