a piece of coal

might be of aid

you won't reach your goals

if you've betrayed

you're bound to It

you can't escape

you'll lose your wits

just like an ape

if you succeed

then make amends

the people bleed

who were your friends

life's unfair

as you will see

a big nightmare

if you don't flee

if swallowed pride

is what it takes

I would try

though high the stakes

cause after all

you can't disguise

some will fall

and some will rise
