Hey guyz

just a question. I was wondering how many of you guyz do like Graphic and Digital Media design as a paid profession?

Im 15, and ive always had a huge interest in the area, and i was just wondering, if you do do it as a job, how did you get into it, and what does your work involve?

im considering this as a career path, by the time im 17 ill have a Certificate 2 In Multimedia, and i was thinking about either looking for some sort of on-site training, or university/TAFE

any help and information you guyz can provide would be appreciated

I am doing it obviously for fun right now, since I am only 14. It won't be a future career but, in College I am going to take Computer Graphics and after that I won't have a job involved in computers unless I don't get trained too become a Pro Wrestler.

i love my digital art, i do lots of really good works, but i rarely show them to people, for example, one im working on at the moment for my gf......these sortta things are personal to me. I get great enjoyment and satisfaction from putting in alot of effort to make something brillant.

unfortunetly i lost all my works when i got a virus a few days ago, so thats a shame, but im slowing getting back on track, im also keeping a little portfolio together filled with my images and that.

ditto. my homeroom teacher is pushing me towards that kind of career since one time i created flyers for the 7th grade basketball tournament. (students against teachers) n he really liked em. then my language arts teacher liked the "masterpiece" i created with photoshop to go along with a poem i did. so bleh i guess im better off listening to them.

Im doing it for fun also, but when the opputunity comes I do work for $, like become active on boards so people see your talent etc, and they offer you a 1 time job or something like that. Im pretty sure I wont make a career in it because I think it would be hard, there are just so many people that are good at it.
