Guest Harry Hope
From The Los Angeles Times, 10/13/07: http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/opinion/la-oe-chait13oct13,1,5593861.column?track=rss&ctrack=1&cset=true Al Gore: the anti-Bush By Jonathan Chait No wonder conservatives are apoplectic - Gore's fortunes rise as the president's plummets. When Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday, conservatives reacted with apoplexy. Talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh, conservative bloggers and other Republican faithful denounced the prize as a fraud. You might wonder why they care so much -- Gore, after all, is obviously not going to run for president, and even some conservatives now concede that global warming is real. The answer is that Gore's triumph is a measure of George W. Bush's disrepute. ______________________________________________ How 'bout that, FatAss Limbaugh. Now back to your cage, junkie. Al Gore took his presidential defeat with grace, unlike Oldbush who left Clinton a war and unbelievable deficits and allowed his henchmen to incessantly attack Clinton. Who would have thought that US elections could be so rigged against Gore? Only the riggers, Rethugs and their appointed henchmen the rightard Supremes. Only thing this shows is who has the character to fight back in ways no one even dreamed of without a body count. Al Gore put the issue Global Warming right back in the spotlight where the whole world could see. Big oil got the White House, temprarily, but Al Gore got the Nobel Peace Prize, forever. Yes, maybe Al Gore planned it this way. George got his endless war and trailer park votes and alegacy that'll hound the Bush family for hundreds of years and Al Gore got the world together again. Whose actions will impact the world the longest. I want this man Gore for president, A true and smart Man with Character. FUCK LIMBAUGH. HE'S A CRIMINAL AND A TRAITOR! I did. Again, who's he talking about? Kissinger? If you're talking about Arafat 1) He didn't "win a Nobel Prize", he earned it jointly with two Israeli leaders 2) He and the Israelis earned it because of the work on the Oslo Accords, a failed attempt to bring peace to Palestine/Israel 3) Arafat killed thousands of Jews? That certainly seems doubtful. Better luck next time - maybe you ought to check your facts before you make a public fool of yourself!!
