We all remember when Al Gore's movie was popular and they released the information that his Tennessee home used 20 times as much electricity as the average American home.

He defended this by saying it was 4 times the size of most homes and was old and he was going to convert it over to being more "green".

Well it seems he did some of the renovations to the home, that he pushes Americans to do to their homes. Despite this that home is now using more electricity than it did before...

In February 2007, An Inconvenient Truth, a film based on a climate change speech developed by Gore, won an Academy Award for best documentary feature. The next day, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research uncovered that Gore’s Nashville home guzzled 20 times more electricity than the average American household.
After the Tennessee Center for Policy Research exposed Gore’s massive home energy use, the former Vice President scurried to make his home more energy-efficient. Despite adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models, and overhauling the home’s windows and ductwork, Gore now consumes more electricity than before the “green” overhaul.

Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month –1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations – at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.

This jackass is just trying to secure his new paycheck. Why else would he and other "greenies" be against the machine invented by a Columbia University scientist that eliminates 1 ton of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere per day? I'll tell you why, If we can offset our fossile fuel use until other technology arrives, Al Gore won't have a job, Nobel Peace Prize (at the expense of a women who saved thousands of Jewish children by the way), a grammy or an oscar. He doesn't care about the environment, he just saw it as his next means to fame and fortune.

I'm sitting here today watching how the world was conceived some 400 billion years ago. Global warming is what created us. We were one cell organisms ting out rock. If it were not for a total ice age (the first ice age) and when the continents where one, then broke apart by the heat of the earths core, we would not be here. It would take the entire world to go green for hundreds of years to even think about reversing mans rain upon this planet. And even then we are in a cycle that is the inevitable. Al Gore has a good idea when it comes to health standards but he and his whole tree hugging friends aren't' gonna stop global warming.

Nobody is denying the history of the planet, but it's well documented that human emissions of CO2 have resulted in atmospheric levels higher than in any period over the last 20 million years.

Leading experts in this country think that the severe effects of climate change we're going to experience if we don't reduce emissions can be significantly ameliorated with simple changes in personal lifestyles.
