A three-judge appeals panel ruled that arbitrator Harold Henderson had acted within his authority when he upheld the league's discipline against Peterson, who had been convicted in Texas of beating his 4-year-old son with a narrow tree branch as punishment. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Peterson and slapped him with a fine in 2014 after the running back pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of injuring his son. Continue reading...
