an idea for the forum

hey guyz

i just had an idea....wat about a way that we can formally invite ppl to join the forum....like instead of just writing our friends an email with a link to the forum how about a area in the forum where we can fill in our friends email address, an invitation to join and like a personal message too...

We've got a refferal field. when someone is signing up they can type the name of the member that refered them to the site. Then that member gets 1 added to their refferal count in their profile.

I don't see any reason for official invites. If you think someone may want ot join, just tell them.

Its not like you need a voucher to get in, its open to everyone.

But say I was to invite a friend and they refered my real name, how are you to know it is me that invited them?
