animating

hey i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of getting some animation software. adobeimageready would be ideal, but anything else works, please help...thx

if you're making sigs, then imageready. but if you actually make cartoons like me you'd want to use flash. flash mx 2004 is good. i use mx pro, but it's a bit expensive.

can you do it oin fireworks MX, swish or flash? ? well I havn't got around to trying any of these out with video's... but if anyone knows off hand.. could you give us a yell?
