Anyone ever seen Evanescence live?

I'm seeing them on October 27th and want to know what to expect. Are they good live? Do they suck? Reviews plz.

i saw them at pinkpop but it wasnt on the mainstage, the stage they were on the sound wasnt good so i cant really give a good comment..it sounded good though imo

I've not seen them live but I've seen them on telly/dvd playing live and they're not that great IMO... You'll have to hope they don't cancel either considering the whole band pretty much left, they cancelled some shows in the UK not too long ago.

They had new band members on pinkpop?

Anyway I saw them live there, we were not close to the stage, and well, I just came from LP so yeah then anything isn't so good lol

But a friend of mine who was in front said it was amazing, although the atmosphere in the back wasn't that great

They're not that bad live, amy's voice is better than it was on the live dvd

it depends on ur flavor.

i mean you gotta give up the fact that with a voice like amy's whether you love it or hate it, its really hard to be rockin hard and sing like that at the same time.

the band does ok, if you like the music im sure ull at least enjoy it for the most part.

Put some good music on your iPod...put the volume on the highest level and then watch Evanescence live...should be a great show

I have seen videos of them live.... it looks so dull

They have nothing to them that gives them an edge live... they are just a band playing music... no extra energy, no improvisation no jamming... truley dreadful banter and no whitt they are too up themselves for that & what else? THEY DONT BOTHER HYPEING THE CROWD! They just do their **** n leave and when the material is as weak as it is and their music on record is so over produced that chances of them recreating it live or bothering to recreate it live is minimal... on the other hand...

when they were here a few months back 5fm the sponser radio station played some of the live stuff they played. sounded ok, but nothing special

i saw em back in 04 with the almost orginal line up, it was alright, not amazing now comming to think of it.

if the tickets were free id go to an evanesance concert, i used to like em, dunno, live, they have like...zilch energy, they go on,sing,maybe have a ****, leave, the crowds arent exactly that exciting either lol

Hmm never been, but I do like the Sick Puppies, they are actually a good band, and if they keep some of the energy in the songs as they do on the album, it sounds like they may be better than Evanecence

Right so Evanescence was alright. My Immortal and Missing were good. She was decent.

Sick Puppies ******* were AMAZING. What a good show, holy **** they were awesome.

Julien-K ruled. I love them <3
