During its press conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, Apple announced that it will continue selling the iPad 2 following <a href="http://www.bgr.com/2012/03/07/ipad-hd-is-here-retina-display-and-more/">the launch of its third-generation iPad tablet</a>. The previous-generation model will see its price drop to $399 for the Wi-Fi-only version and $529 for the 3G model, and it will only be available with 16GB of memory.
