Yea.. a 13 year old girl and her 22 year old boyfriend who slaughtered the girls parents where I live were members too.

That's what that site is for dear, all the little 'no one understands me' goths. And trying to rationalize things like the shooting by saying they claim no responsiblity, is like trying to say Myspace has nothing to do with the jump in underage rape & kidnappings.

It doesn't work. Of course they'll claim no responsibilty for a shooting, do you think they want to be hit with a lawsuit? Fuck no. Same with Myspace.

What? Myspace and rape and kidnappings? Wow, that's the first I've heard of crimes being related to myspace.

It's the case with the Columbia High School Shootings. The kid listened to Marilyn Manson, and Manson got blamed for it. It's not his fault that kid took his music literally and decided to (I quote) "There's a time to discriminate hate every motherfucker that's in your way". So what I am saying that don't blame other things like VF of what that kid does. If VF had such that much of an influence on people's lives wouldn't that a thousand and something members would have already done the same thing?

Goth is just whiney little subculture who think they're too 'cool' to be classified as emo.

So what does that make punks? An annoying little wannabe subculture that try too hard?

I don't agree with any of these little 'groups'.. goths, emos, punks, etc. I think it's just a cry for attention, and in alot of cases it really is.

Matt- Damn. That is my exact thoughts on the world's subcultures & mindsets of today.

But yet again, it's the human ability to judge people. And you can't really stop people from classifying people as Emos, Goths, Punks, Teenybops etc. It's society. Life's a bitch. Get over it.

In some cases like a lot of people on VF can't got over their emotions. I don't approve their 'cults' they put them as, like clubs, wish they would just put them as clubs and not cults, and don't get me started on this 'Sucide Girls' cult that I saw once.
