It's a hair-raising World Series sideshow but still a mane event for New York Mets fans -- long-locked pitcher Jacob deGrom is cutting his trademark shoulder-length hair. The 27-year-old right-hander revealed that scissors were in his future Tuesday as he discussed his starting role in Wednesday's second game of Major League Baseball's best-of-seven championship final. DeGrom was asked whether he with his flowing locks or his dreadlocked game-two rival, Kansas City Royals right-hander, Johnny Cueto, had the better hairstyle.
