I warned Microsoft in 2010 that AT&T would do nothing but get in the way when it came to software updates. And for the past 18 months, that’s exactly what’s happened. On the eve of an important new Windows Phone handset release, I have to ask: Why is AT&T allowed to be Microsoft’s premier Windows Phone partner when it’s done nothing but harm Windows Phone users by blocking every software update that Microsoft has provided?
