At what point would Americans still approve of bombing Iran?
The word "unbelievable" or "unbelievably" are hereby
banned from the American political lexicon.
About half of all Americans, by the latest Zogby poll,
would approve of bombing Iran.

The poll question should have a follow-up:
Question: "Indicate by a, b, c, d ... at which level
of severity you would NO LONGER approve of
bombing Iran if it meant that:
a) one hundred thousand Iranians would die
b) two hundred thousand Iranians would die
c) one million Iranians would die
d) Shia in Iraq would retaliate and one thousand
American soldiers would die
e) d would happen plus ten of our embassys would
be burnt to the ground somewhere in the world
in just the first week
f) e would happen, plus our fleet in the Persian Gulf
would be decimated
g) Turkey would consider it a signal that all gloves
are off and invade Iraq killing tens of thousands
of civilians in the process, plus f would happen
h) Total and utter chaos reigns in Iraq, plus g would happen
i) The entire Arab world goes into chaos and Saudi Arabia
is taken over by radicals, nuclear-weaponed Pakistan is taken
over by radicals, Egypt is taken over by radicals, plus h happens
j) Russia follows through on it's commitment to Iran and
turns Tel Aviv into glass, plus i happens
k) Tel Aviv AND Haifa, plus i happens
L) You have to wait in line for a whole day to tank up your SUV
