Hello,
I am getting ready to deploy 30 new machines and would like them to automatically join the domain. I am wondering what best practice is in regards to the account used to do this.
I know if I were to just use an Unattend.xml for my image, I can specify it to join the domain. It asks for a domain user name and password. Are these values encrypted in the unattend.xml?
What about if I were to use MDT? I understand I can have a machine join the domain by specifying the settings in CustomSettings.ini. Are these values protected at all? What is best practice in this regard?
