Tusk extended axle for $199

or Dura Blue Eliminator Axle 2+2 for $365

or Lone star for $329

Or the e-bay special no name for $129

Any instalation problems with the Tusk? Is the Dura Blue stronger/lighter?

If Immortal has one I would ****** the thing up.... They are a great axle especially with their warranty

I bought my Alba axle from Alba racing for $190 shipped, just as strong as LSR, basically dont have the sticker on it

I went to LSR's shop over spring break, they gave me the spec on their axle, then i gave Alba a call, and they gave me theirs and they were all very very close.

I cant believe that so many posts, and nobody is looking at RPM axles.... they are the strongest on the market. I have seen all others bend or break regularly. i have only ever seen a few broken RPM axles.

I know most have warranties... but i would sure hate for my race, or riding trip to be ruined by a broken axle. i would rather spend a bit more up front and have an axle that i dont have to worry about again. not to mention on the warranty axles, you still have to pay shipping back and forth... that gets expensive and adds up quick.

Durablues warranty is only good for the FIRST time the axle fails, after that, they charge a prett steep replacment fee.... its been years since i sent one in, but it used to be $150 + shipping both ways.

I've only ever seen one axle break and it was an LSR. Most of my group run G-force and haven't had problems. I think it is a rare occurance at lower levels. Just don't be casing things all the time.
