Hey does anyone know of a program that will tell me the time signature of a song played or inserted into it?

Acid is a great program. I think the newest version of Fruity Loops aka FL Studios does the same thing and it's pretty easy to use. The free version also offers you some good stuff. You won't be able to save project files but you can export to wav.
