Benadryl

i know this isn't a quad question but wtf. does anyone else get high as **** off a benadryl? i'll give you a background here. i don't take **** unless i[m basically on the verge of death. no tylonol pain killers cough meds etc. i was told today that i have a infection in my hand casued by a bee sting i got on weds which is causing my hand to blow up. hey told me to take antibiotics and benadryl. here i am trying not to nod off and high as ****. it made the last hour of work fly by

did you drink the whole bottle? benedryl will make you drowsy, kinda like a double dose of nyquil and trying to stay awake.

nope i had the pills they told me for how bad my hand was i needed to take 2 at a time man it was an interesting weekend but on a good not my hand is about 80% normal so i guess it worked

yea benadryl contains antihistamines, so they probably did double up your dose, at least its working. hope you feel better soon.

No doubt benadryl works but I'm like you that stuff kicks my ***!! I've had conversations with people that I could not recall shortly after taking that stuff.

It knocks me out within 30 minutes! I took it once and called a friend. I was talking about something so crazy he immediately stopped what he was doing and came to my house to check on me. I woke up to him about ready to kick my door in. Although it has a completely different effect on my dog. I have a female boxer and I have to give it to her for allergies. She runs wild in the yard non stop for 3 hours straight!!

I've taken to much when i was sick and it got me extremely dizzy. Never again lol

It puts me to sleep..
