Best Bit & Worst bit about being your age

I think the best part of being 17 is that you can go to drunk parties and get away with coming home drunk, well with my parents. The worst part of it, is trying to get a good HSC mark to get a good UAI (University Admittance Index) for Uni, ergh, too much homework.

I'm 15. Let's do this shit.

 

Best:

-Being old enough so your body can take it when you stay up till 1-2 am every night and get up at 7am (Fuck I love that)

-Being old enough to just "go and hang out" with friends for hours at a time in their car lol

-Being in high school. God it's great. You can just...decide to do stuff or you can not care. You can have a great time, every day, no matter what you're doing in every class lol. Your friends are always there for you.

-Being just young enough you don't need a job, you don't need to pay bills, or any of that shit <3

 

Worst:

-Being at the age where you have to concentrate on your schoolwork and get good grades for college

-Not being able to drive yet

-Not quite old enough to make your own decisions (like your parents still have custody over you and always have final say -_-)

-The constant need for money It's always there...that fucking constant need lol

Age - 16

 

Best -

Do what I can to have fun even if it means persuading a group of ppl.

Hangin out with my Friends all night and day XD

Getting high and drunk without your parents givin a fuck.

 

Worst -

Nothing I have nothin to complain bout this past month.

Worst-Can't drive!

Age: 17

Best:

-you can stay outside as long as you want or party all night long

-you are starting to make decisions on your own

-starting to reach big 18/majority in our country

Worst:

-study hard

-you have to know what do you wanna do in your fucked up life...to which college you're gonna go

-constant love problems

 

I can't think of anything else so...yeah...

age:30

 

best things: independance, having your own house, no one to answer to, having my kids.

 

worst: having to go to work worry about money, bills, kids etc.....

when your my age your expected to act all responsible and as you all know i act more like a 16 year old lol, i can be responsible but i don't see the point of being boring all my life, i wanna have fun and live life to the full!!!!

Best: Independent, New College Graduate, your life is changing...

 

Worst: No money, no job, no place to live, no idea what the next part of your life will be like, and interviewing (DAMN does this suck!)

I turned 18 just last month =] So far, there's not much difference between 17 and 18 for me lol.

 

Best things:

* I can go to as many gigs as I like (To a certain extent!) =D

* Parents aren't as protective of me and they use to be!

* No-one can tell me what to do. I'm sensible enough!

* EXAMS are over! (For now)

* I feel boastful that I can buy alcohol and kids younger than me can't, and have to ask me to buy it for them =P

* I'm at that stage in my life where I'm really happy and content with what I've got

* Once you go to uni, you realise the immaturity of high school. Though high school gave me some great school years!

* I've grown up and matured.

* Having access to my own bank account!

 

 

Worst things:

* I don't drink. I can't advantage of the buying alcohol thingy =P

* Parents moaning at me to get a job.

* No EMA from college =[

* Having to think of loans and stuff for university.

* Scared of going university basically.

* Have to start thinking of my future which sucks.

Hmm I'm happy with my age.. I don't need alcohol, smokes and parties that much.. I can smoke n drink when 16 so.. don't really need it though..

 

Can't drive at 16 yet here so that's a bummer.. though I'm not really that siked about driving..

 

Good things:

People don't see you as a little kid anymore THAT much.. I still look younger though

I can make more decisions myself

I'm allowed to meet people I've known online.. on some terms..

you realise how important your friends and family are..

 

Bad things:

You have to get a job to buy/get things you want..

Too many shit at school *yawn*

gotta be more responsable.. meh

if ya arn't social you aren't much..

 

dunno anything else right now.. still have to experiment with that

Positives

I can play JV and Varsity interchangebly

More friends more parties more love

 

Negatives

No matter what this age brings the whole love scene in to perspective which i hate.

Theres a need to get known.

More responsibility

have to start deciding where you wanna go with life.

Age - 19

 

Best thing - You are considered an adult. You can now go anywhere and do pretty much everything legally, except drink beer. You get to go to college too.

 

Worst thing - People still treat you like a kid. You don't get any respect from anyone in the world. Parents still rag on, work still blows, and then there is paying for college.

 

ps - Is it just me or do restuarants treat kids our age like dirt?

Ummm DON'T work at a resturant. There are plenty of jobs where people will appreciate you.

Buy Booze and almost anything on sale

U can act like a kid when doing stuff adults do

Its socially acceptable to go past 3rd base

Party hard work not so hard

 

Cons-

U do have to work some to party hard

u have responsibilities and preassures that werent previously there

u can no longer fit in the slides at places such as chucky cheese

Best

-I`m still a kid and I should make the most of it [:

-Getting to watch PG-13 movies (Though I see no point because I always have)

-I`m more responsible o_0

 

Worst

-More chores

-Though more freedom parents still treat me like a kid

-School gets harder

- being able to LEGALLY drive

- Staying out later

- hahah I look 18 so I can buy cigarettes [CHYEA!]

- having an ID [so I can play pool]

- & now I can legally date

 

The bad

- still in school & have one more year to go [i'm a junior]

- Cant buy alcohol [even tho I'm not big on drinking . . I still love the occastional wine cooler]

- can't legally smoke

Well I'm 14.

 

Good bits:

-I can stay out as late as I want, usually. (weekends)

-Getting at the age where I'm more responsible, more caring about my decisions and what I'm going to do in life. (maybe I should concider that a "Bad bit", Haha.)

-More freedom than ever.

 

Bad Bits:

-First year of high school, have to actually work hard and get credits for college.

-Can't get my permit for a few months.

-More responsibilities.

-More acne than ever. Fuck. But it's actually starting to clear up a bit.

 

Obviously, there's more. But my human mind cannot think any further at the moment.

I'm 18.

 

Best bits

- Leaving high school.

- Going to college and meeting new people.

 

 

Bad bits

- Having more responsibility. Everything seemed simple when you were younger.

- Even though you're finish with high school, theres still college.

- People in general expect more of you since you are an adult.

Na guys I'm only 15 :O I remember when I was 13 going on 14 on LPF though

 

Add school projects to that list of worse things. I have to do a big food web thing for science due tomorrow

Best bit-

-Making your authority known.

-Drinking alcohol

-Staying out to the wee hours of the morning

-Driving around in cars with my band (4 older males) and screaming our favourite tunes out and scaring little kids

-Get to have a social life

-Doing what ever,whenever, how ever (lets face it..life it too short to waste)

 

 

Worst-

-Responibility with school work, because having a social life is no longer a valid excuse since school isn't compulsory any longer.

-Too much freedom

-Having to work and go to school to study and pay for school items like art supplies and bass lessons (waking up at 4am on sunday, sometimes slightly hung over to go to work so i can pay for rehersal studios every friday)

-you at an awkard stage of life

-you have to pay adult for cinema tickets

-ur just still to yound to buy your own fag..have to ask older friends to get them
