That's a good size jump, especially for a GNCC race. Looks cool watching it at that angle! Nice post.

they've got a jump like that at the local track with a downhill landing. This one is more forgiving since you can hop over it if you don't hit it big. The one around here if you don't go for it, you're gonna splat. I always go around it, but it's funny to watch some of the newer guys try to hit it slow and just frame out bigtime.

There's a video on youtube of walker fowler hitting that last year. If he wasn't on a yamaha it would have been awesome.

i was there and participated. it was cool to be one of the few to hit the sky shot. not even the local MXers get to hit it cuz its part of the "pro track." of course i didn't clear it but i did hit it a lil too hard one lap and jumped like 3/4 of it and flatlanded. haha. ended up 3rd in my class.
