Big Numbers for Clinton, Obama Debate

NEW YORK (AP) - An estimated 8.3 million television viewers watched Hillary
Clinton and Barack Obama debate Thursday night in California, more than
double the audience for Republican candidates the night before.

The CNN audience for Clinton and Obama's debate, the first one-on-one
contest for Democrats now that John Edwards has dropped out, was second
only to the 9.4 million people who watched the Democrats on ABC Jan. 5,
according to Nielsen Media Research.

CNN also televised a Republican debate Wednesday night, highlighted by
contentious exchanges between John McCain and Mitt Romney, that was watched
by 4 million viewers, Nielsen said.

The Democratic debate eclipsed, by far, any other political debate ever
shown just on cable television. The previous high was the Democratic debate
in South Carolina on Jan. 21, seen by 4.9 million people.

The interest is huge for the Democrats.
Some interesting polls:
Moveon.org poll between Hillary & Obama taken today 02/01/08
Rounded off, Obama 70% Hillary 29%
Moveon is said to be now supporting Obama. Is that true?

Watchout. If McCain wins the Republician ticket
and Democrats choose Obama. Many Demcorats may
choose McCain, he'll bring the republicans back
to the centre and McCain lost to Bush so if
McCain is a better president then the Bush
years will be history.

Its revenge stupid.
Clinton is revenge.
McCain is revenge.
Obama could easily be another fighter pilot who never
saw action, a oil man that never found oil. He is
unknown and paid for.

And don't dig that he's black, women have been
viewed as property for far longer than slavery
ever existed.

If you hate the religious right McCain is your
man up against Obama. Its that simple.
However a Clinton/Obama ticket really kicks
the religious right out of the field.
