Just wanted to post a thank you thread to Tim and Stellar...and also Mike Burke for hooking me up with Tim and Stellar. Posting some pictures below...we had Tim build two +4" round tube swing arms for our 2004/2005 TRX450R's. They are absolutely amazing. Compared to the our old setups, the new ones are a dream. Rides great, doesn't wheelie out of the hole, weighs less, strong and well made, makes my bike MUCH more consistent...and shaved two tenths off my average time in 300' !!

Consistent 5.1's now. 60' times are still in the 1.9's from spinning too much heh.

I put a 100 lb. jockey on it and he got it to run a 4.8....wish I was 90 lbs lighter lol.

Man if we were all closer that'd be awesome to have a race day and hang out. Tim does great work! I love the arm on mine, just hope it works a bit better to knock some time off my best like yours.

it mostly for car guys but i see a few that would fit you ;)
Haha I've seen those shirts before! One guy had one of the "got boost" shirts on at the last sand drag event and was riding some pos streetbike swaped thing. I like to keep them guessing where they think I'm hiding the no2 bottle :secret2:

I wish both of ya were closer! Dustin builds some awesome running bikes.
Thanks Gary. We all sure had fun at Glamis and I was simply amazed at how close all three bikes were (my brother's, burkes, and deven's). Although being the first virgin trip out on deven's showed that it needs a little tweeking to get dialed. He's lucky to have had a ride out there swapping the bent crank out the night before. Mine kinda prooved to be a highway flier with a bigger cam. It ran great near the limiter but nothing like it was before so it's back to the original combo. I'm gonna shoot for the sand drags coming up on the 10th and do some test and tune before the big Thanksgiving trip to Glamis.

It'd be amazing if I could make it out there to do a group ride with you guys one of these days...would be one helluva long haul tho. Deven and Mike's bikes are awesome running bikes. Kinda wish I had you around as an awesome engine resource too haha. Good luck with getting the right combo back...hopefully it won't be too expensive or time consuming!

Hey just shoot me a pm or whatever, whenever you have questions! I'll definitely have more time than anything involved with my bike as always. I really hate spending money on it but if there is one piece of advice it's you buy the best and cry once. Buy cheap **** and you'll have nothing but frustration.

You're making me jealous! I have my old sled back home ('99 powder special) that I used to ride every weekend there was snow on the ground. I miss it so much since having moved to AZ. Sleds are definitely something I would be into if I still lived in UT. Turbos are so at home on sleds, just like they should be on 450's... and pretty much everything else. Really wish I had the opportunity to build a nice boosted sled. I did get to ride my bro's boss' turbo apex last year that makes just north of 400hp. After the third pass I thought I was dead after the intake pipe ruptured under nearly 25psi but damm what a ride.

Here are a couple pics from the last time we had the camera out

Yeah that's sick dude. Aerocharger seems to be on top of their chit. I miss the tree shots but that snow looked pretty hard packed. Get some vids of it when you guys run it!

I am so up in the air about sleds. They are so much fun, but around here the last few winters have been so chitty... and then when you do get some snow (4") everyone beats the snot out of the trails and they get closed right away. It doesn't help that I rolled mine a few years back. That in it's self has scared me out of getting a new, fast sled.

That video is nuts!

go pro is rdy. i also get to run a 600 xrs thats got more money in it than it should. i've seen it run and would swear up and down its an 800 but it isn't! when you let off that stutter button its violent. like come right out from under ya and flip over backwards if ur not careful violent (keep in mind its a short sled). has a big nasty shee i get to try too. ahhh the perks of bein a little guy...

back on topic?or is it too late? lol

boy oh boy... the sleds are fun... I've never been on a modified snomo but I do have permission to rob an MXZ583 since it got folded in half & my mom did just blow up her Ahrens yard tractor:gr_wink:

A sled with a turbo would be a ton of fun... but like my theory with Dustin's bike... mine wouldn't be fun anymore after riding it.

One of these days I'll just give him a stack of hudreds and tell him to make mine fast too... well I've already done that with a smaller stack but you know what I mean

Anyway... looking good Gary, glad you're happy with them... I'm glad to help out any way I can... anything you ever need just give me a shout!
