Of the 44 players who gathered under national coach Heyneke Meyer for a four-day get-together, 19 could not train and five took part in only some drills. The Springboks injured during the southern hemisphere inter-provincial championship this season include full-back Willie le Roux, fly-half Patrick Lambie and locks Pieter-Steph du Toit and Lood de Jager.
