Bring Back Futurama!!!!!

Hey Guys

Surely you would have heard of and loved Futurama.

Unfortunelty it finished in a short 5 seasons.

After the Family Guy was succesfully brought back from the dead, soley because of high dvd sales, it has set the trend, and now people are trying to get Futurama back.

I doubt it will come back...I think that Matt Groening is probably too dissapointed with the end results of the show. I mean, the man poured his best work ever into this show, and no one really bothered to watch it. Meanwhile, the Simpsons gets all the hype.

I think the Simpsons are overrated, and I had been hoping that Fox would can them for Futurama...but you know Fox. They suck like that.

Yeah, I agree with the simpsons, its been years now, the effect is rubbing off. As for Futurama coming back, there was an interview with Matt Groening, and apparently when asked if Futurama would ever come back, he smiled and said something like "You never know". So i think there is hope

Futurama is better than the new Simpsons episodes. However, most of the Simpsons episodes about halfway through it's life are amazing. They've gone downhill now, and they're resorting to getting cheap laughs. "lolz, he said ***, roflolol". Futurama retained the same great quality throughout all of the episodes, though. Anyways, yea, I'm rambling. That's just my 2 cents.

edit: holy ****, 17428 is the number it was on before signed it and it when up too 17429 right well i refreshed to do it for each member of my fam and it was 17428 again, then i signed it again it when up to 17429, refreshed and it WAS still 17428.

wtf...

Futurama is way better then The Simpsons now in my opinion and it had so much more potential.

Well, I'm not going to say Futurama is better then the simpsonhs overall mainly becuase think about it. Ideas from the simpsons were taken to make these shows. The Simpsons basically layed down the mark for these type of cartoons. Futurama is funny, but it can get repetitive. I think Simpsons will be one of the best. The newer episodes obviously arent as good considering the fact that theres been 13 season of it. Eventually they would run dry. But overall Simpsons have been the best. Family Guy got renewed becuase it just blew out of the water once it appeared on Adult Swim. People loved it then decided to buy the DVDs. Futurama hasn't been as succesful though.

I would sign it but meh, these things never work.

Just so everyone knows, Its been announced that Fox is 'in talks' with Futurama creator Matt Groening, writer David X. Cohen, and voice talents Billy West (Fry), Joe DiMaggio (Bender), and Katey Segal (Leela) about bringing the show back on the air.

This is awesome news. If someone wants a source, I can google one quick, but its not hard to find.

Family got cancled twice and renewed twice, the most cancled and un cancled show ever :)
