Buy parts from microdirect.co.uk I used that website, they're very reliable.

Graphics card you want an nVidia graphics card, get at least 4GB of RAM and a 64-bit OS.

If you're on a budget, get amd and ati parts. for 1000 american, I have a quad core @ 2.6, 4 gigs of high end ddr2, a 320 gig hard drive, a really nice case, and an ATI Radeon 5770.

Runs every game I have had the urge to play nicely. Video is your biggest expense, and Nvidia is in no way a bang-for-your-buck product

AMD are out rated now  you should go for the new intel chipset if you're able to purchase them.

I have an AMD processor though, they still run very smoothly

i3? horrible pricing... I have a server that runs better than an i5

dual p4 HT @ 2.8 ghz. intel's core series is really over priced

Well better than C2D or C2Q hands down. but an i5 is way faster than a AMD six-core. look up the benchmarks

I paid $710 for my laptop and i like it. I want to pick up an i7 here soon. I tried AMD and i didn't like it.

My Core i3 is still fast even though the GPU & CPU are AIO
